The CRU Gravy Train
October 31, 2011
The Climate Research Unit at the University of Mickey Mouse East Anglia has clocked up grants worth over £1.6 million over the last year or so for various research projects to do with climate change. No prizes for guessing who gets to pay the bill.
I sometimes wonder how we used to manage without them.
Below is the full list of recent grants (as at May 2011).

What an amusing list.
Research into why treemometers don’t work – probably won’t be any results from that; nearly £250k down the drain.
Southern hemisphere climate change in an era of ozone recovery: it hasn’t! 2011 ozone hole was bigger than it was 20 years ago and the minimum ozone reached was within one Dobson Unit of the value 20 years ago.
There is no sign whatsoever of any recovery so it may be some time before we see the benefit of that £250k.
I wonder how much grant money they would got if they had said ” Climate Change? What Climate Change?”
Well, at least they are not still trying to hide the decline. They just call it the ‘dendroclimatic divergence phenomenon’.
How can we get into this racket?
Call AGW the bane of our existence. Lie, lie, lie, and lie again. Then apply for a grant to prove your lies.
Thats a lot of money wasted… money governments don’t have.
No but us poor taxpayers do.
The governments are doing their best to correct that problem! 😉
At least they seem to think people living from payday to payday have to much extra cash.
The emperor needs new clothes – it’s getting cold!
