EPA Lying To Kids About Droughts

Real Science points out that the EPA claim in their Student’s Guide that droughts are becoming longer and more extreme worldwide because of climate change. They also claim that in the US, the South West is at particular risk.
As far as the USA is concerned, according to NCDC data, this claim is totally untrue. Analysis of the top 20 dry years for each of the nine regions shows the following.

Contrary to the EPA’s propaganda, droughts have not increased in the last couple of decades, either nationally or regionally. Even in the South West, the incidence of drought is in line with 20thC averages.
This is outright and blatant fraud. It is even worse when it is aimed at children.

NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT 
Good rains for the permanent drought area from Arizona to Georgia over the last couple weeks. The NOAA people will probably still claim there is still a severe drought. They probably said there was severe drought long after Noah’s Ark went afloat.
They’ll claim next week that there is too much rain!
