HADCRUT Numbers Out For December

January 23, 2013

By Paul Homewood

Down from 0.52C to 0.27C, a huge drop and in line with GISS figures.

Full update later today, but this drop brings temperatures back to what they were at the start of the year, when La Nina was in full swing.

They are also below levels in 2003/4 when ENSO conditions were also neutral.

With most of the NH so cold at the moment. temperatures could drop even further this month. Big changes seem to be underway, and if they carry on for the next few months, there is going to be much scratching of heads in the climate fraternity. They certainly have not seen this one coming.

Maybe it’s early doors, but there has been no announcement yet from the UK Met Office about their own HADCRUT figures.

You would think they would like to tell people about such a huge drop!

Boy, that is quite a drop. I suppose the discourse will shift even further into “Global Weirding” territory. I look forward to reading the big brain’s explanations of how man made CO2 drives odd weather.

Please don’t let us get carried away by the good news! The alarmists have been stark raving mad for decades and they are unlikely to be converted by simple facts. Our task is to help them see the light without undue pain.
The good news is that there is still hope for the polar bears, the Maldives and the Barrier Reef and that human kind may yet survive to breed more millions and become extinct for other reasons than AGW.

BTW What news from down under? Is SH on the boil?

Good point. No they’re down as well, but not quite as much, by 0.10C

There are no hot spots down in the SH at the moment. If there was at least one hotspot as there was in Oz a week ago (but fizzled out in a few days) be sure that the Main Scream Media would let us all know that the planet is on fire. So, when you hear nothing then be sure that there’s nothing that is a few degrees warmer than normal.

And what is “Normal” grasshopper ?

There IS no normal, merely a crap ‘average’ for some arbitrary period

Never mind that almost all long term land temps are statistically equivalent to manipulated drek with a base sample size of 1 per day. absurd.

All I know is that I am normal!!!
