Richard Branson, the well known billionaire, has made no secret of the need for us all to cut CO2 emissions, in order to save the planet, not to mention the polar bears.

That is obviously why he is spending millions building his SpaceShipTwo, so that his millionaire luvvie friends can pay $200,000 a time to hitch ride to outer space, before coming back done 10 minutes later.

Now if it was a one way ticket????

    Let’s face it, anyone running an airline for profit couldn’t really care less about CO2 emissions. Especially as they jet around the world all the time as well.

    “Met Office chief scientist Julia Slingo said climate change was “loading the dice” towards freezing, drier weather — and called publicly for the first time for an urgent investigation.”

    Prof Slingo said: “If you look at the way our weather patterns have behaved over the past four or five years, we’re beginning to think that there is something happening. ”

    So climate isn’t 30 years, it’s now 4 years and why did they predict warmer wetter winters? Shows they haven’t got a clue about our climate.

    If Branson is doing to save the planet, then I’m the pope and bless him.
    He’s in it for the publicity and somehow he’ll make money out of it.

    P.S. I’m not the pope.
