Climate Clowns Predict Cold Wet Hot Dry Summers

August 15, 2013

By Paul Homewood

This comes as bit of a surprise, since only last December the BBC reported:-

There again, back in 2006, David Viner told us:-

[I am prepared to accept this may have been a Grniduan typo, as they describe the aforesaid Viner as a “climate expert”!]

And the reality? Just year after year of good old British weather!

The only mystery is why anybody pays the slightest attention to these clowns.

Sadly, “Weather – normal” fails to sell newspapers, or, increase viewing figures.

We can decline to buy misguided newspapers; the Beeb Tax ensnares most of us.

Climate clowns are stuffing their wallets with our tax funds.

May their jail cells be air conditioned!

Well, if they state it every which way, whatever happens they’ll have a prediction to whip out and say, “See? We told you so!”, ignoring all others, of course. They are covering all bases and hoping the general public won’t notice. How dumb of them – people are seeing through this ever more clearly.

Don’t worry about the warmer summers ,should they come. They have been fairly stable . It is the upcoming winters that UK should focus on. Winter temperatures have been dropping since 2007 and as the sun cycle and ocean cycles decline , the Arctic Oscillation may go negative more often and cold winters like 2010 may occur more often. The 110 year climate cycle is also pointing to more cold winter conditions similar to what happened for 30 years plus after 1890, 1780, 1670

As a solar based long range forecaster I have been telling people for four years that 2013 would be a good UK Summer. I could readily see it getting hot from around the 6th of July.

It is interesting, your 2nd hottest summer was almost 200 years ago, when the Little Ice Age was still in progress. There appears to be a slight warming trend, but hardly anything catastrophic.

Good finds, Paul. “Clowns” is too nice a word for this bunch.
