    But what does JB say?

    – OK Paul , now you are giving credit to DX but look you need to give credit to craigm350
    who gave credit “Piers Corbyn”
    – Lets Look back at your first post .. You compared the D EXpress against Met, believed the Met & said
.. “The Daily Express are forecasting that the “Storm of the Century” will hit Britain in the next week. This time, the nonsense comes from Jonathan Powell of Vantage Weather Services.”

“NONSENSE” what a word to use ..Paul you had no evidence to make a strong assertion like that.
    – craigm350 gave credit to Piers Corbyn

” still par for the UK climate. Piers Corbyn had this period flagged weeks back
THE BIG ONE IS coming to WHACK SOUTH B+I as in WeatherAction (33d ahead) forecast according to 7 day ahead model maps below.”This is the most important storm this month in our forecasts both sides of the Atlantic” said Piers
    http://bit.ly/19rwAPN
Powell is a rent-a-quote for the Express and was just jumping on the GFS output as usual (it dropped the low but it’s back and is shown on other models now as well). ..”

I’m not sure if I agree with Piers’ description “the most serious for decades”.

That was my main original complaint – that the whole thing was being overhyped.

The storm was essentially a once every five years event. If Corbyn predicted it originally, kudos to him.

Biggest ever etc. Sounds like the Express headline writer rather than Piers, I’d certainly give him this one over supercomputer met office. In Piers video a month ago he said something big is going to happen at the end of October. His explanation just out http://m.tmi.me/1bmCtx

Paul someone just posted me Piers predictions for Oct ..you might want to check ..he never claims to be 100% cos systems can move over a bit and then miss the predicted target etc..but see what you think. e.g. I see he predicted storms North first then south, but surely only the south got storms ? (posting here cos I don’t have your email)
