    Met Office

    likely
    Met Office climate model

None of this is likely to win many of us over to paying much [ if any ] attention given their general track record.

    Ah, but you don’t understand.
Droughts are going to get more common, and floods are going to get more common.
Heat waves are going to get more common, and cold spells are going to get more common.
Anything bad is going to get more common, and anything good is going to get less common.
It’s all a simple consequence of radiative physics.

Don’t blame poor Mr McCarthy, he’s just parroting the Met Office prognostication.

The Guardian experts? Don’t think so after their history.

Cool dry air leads to droughts. Warm wet air leads to floods. They got it bass-ackwards, as per usual.
