Some very good news, if Principia are correct.

Michael Mann’s court case against Tim Ball has collapsed. It appears that the 3-Year time limit has expired, due to Mickey’s failure to disclose his hokey stick data.

We are all, of course, entitled to ask what the aforesaid Mickey has to hide by refusing to disclose such data.

It also appears that Mark Steyn, who also made certain disparaging remarks bout Mann and was subsequently sued, has countersued for $10 million as a result.

Steyn claims, with some credence, that Mann’s court cases, seemingly funded by the ludicrous David Suzuki, were from the start aimed at stifling debate on such an important issue. This was the sort of thing that was commonplace in the 16thC.

Thank you Tim Ball and Mark Steyn for resisting this attempt at censorship.

Am skeptical of any claim by Principia – an independent verification is needed

I gather that’s why Mark Steyn has upped the ante.

      Meanwhile, fingers crossed.

For what it’s worth, they seem to be basing it off of Dr Ball’s release of his new book, as they apparently mentioned it here first,

    http://www.principia-scientific.org/review-the-deliberate-corruption-of-climate-science-by-dr-tim-ballreview-the-deliberate-corruption-of-climate-science-by-dr-tim-ball.html

“This is the book Ball has been eager to publish the moment he was free of the censorious legal shackles imposed upon him three years ago when Penn. State University’s Michael Mann (‘hockey stick’ graph fraud) filed a libel suit against him in Canada.

The courage and forthrightness Tim Ball has shown with this book, and in the British Columbia Supreme Court defending himself against the now failed libel suit of Michael Mann, is about to be vindicated by the judiciary. As the scientific community awaits Ball’s impeding legal triumph, we may edify ourselves not just with the black and white evidence presented in this extraordinary publication, but in the certain knowledge that Mann and his co-conspirators have spectacularly failed in their bid to silence dissent against their fraudulent science.

Mann’s abortive attempt to sue Ball in the British Columbia Supreme Court ultimately back-fired because Mann refused to show his metadata, his calculations for his junk science, in open court. Now Mann faces possible bankruptcy on top of professional suicide, as the price for his misdeeds.”

Personal thoughts …it does make sense that Ball would refrain from making even more allegations while the case was still pending, and his new book (released Jan 21, 2014) does just that. Of course, Ball could have also just decided Mann will clearly never produce the data needed to win the case anyway, and therefore he (Ball) should not live in fear of a possibility unlikely to ever come true.

Would be nice if Ball just stepped down from his higher ground for a second and let all us nosy and gloaty types know the truth so we can have our fun! Oh well, on the bright side, at least some involved in this war still have morals, and I guess we should take heart in that. (I am still dying to know, though! hehe)

Can’t find any confirmation of this anywhere.
