Obama Worries About Improving Harvests – Blames It On Global Warming!

May 30, 2014

By Paul Homewood

According to a report today from Bloomberg,

The White House, as it prepares to announce new limits on carbon emissions, is working to transform the debate from distant threats to more immediate issues.

President Obama wants to shift the conversation from polar bears and melting glaciers to droughts in Iowa and more childhood asthma across the nation.

That’s funny, because only two weeks ago, Bloomberg reported:

Corn futures fell, heading for the biggest monthly loss since June, as U.S. planting neared completion and prospects improved for early crop development. Wheat also fell, while soybeans gained.

U.S. farmers planted 88 percent of the corn crop as of May 25, up from 73 percent a week earlier and matching the five-year average, the US Dept of Agriculture said. Sowing in Illinois the biggest producer after Iowa, was 95 percent complete with 67 percent of the crop rated in good or excellent condition. Warm, wet weather in the next two weeks will boost early growth, T-Storm Weather said in a report today.

Farmers are finishing up planting, and rain and warm temperatures means the crop will get off to a great start,” Brian Basting, a market analyst for Advance Trading Inc. in Bloomington, Illinois said in a telephone interview. “The potential is there for very good yields.” Corn futures for July delivery fell 0.6 percent to close at $4.695 a bushel at 1:15 p.m. on the Chicago Board of Trade, after reaching $4.665 yesterday, the lowest since March 4. The grain has slumped 9.5 percent in May, after surging 23 percent in the previous four months.

Prices also declined on speculation that world inventories will rise with improving global weather conditions, Basting said.

How many more lies will the Liar In Chief be allowed to get away with?

When I have criticised Obama before for lying, I have been accused of “irrational hatred”.

I think it fair to say that we all have every right to be very suspicious of what our politicians tell us.

But, even though I am an outsider, I have always believed that anyone holding the office of the US President should stand above the usual, dirty day to day political machinations. Surely the President should rise above all of this, and stand up for integrity and honesty? Surely his post demands as much?

Apparently Obama does not think so.

    Thanks, Paul.

    Another lie.
    What difference does it make?

A reality check is coming by the end of the year, and it is not only El NIño.
    Elections, like insolation, have consequences.

Is it possible, Paul, that Stalin emerged victorious in chaotic, but unreported events of August 1945?

    1. FEAR and CHAOS, mostly hidden from the public in August 1945

    2. A GREAT DISCOVERY, recognized with a Nobel Prize in December 1922

These two events are summarized on this one-page paper

I’m afraid that “Liar in Chief” is an all too accurate depiction.

Obama is not personally to blame for going along with sixty-nine years (2014 – 1945 = 69 yr) of Consensus Science, alias Standard Models of cores of heavy atoms, planets, stars, galaxies and the universe !

This deceit may end when ordinary citizens know details of the CHAOS and TERROR world leaders faced in August 1945.

Paul, you’re exactly correct. A sitting US president should be better than this. He should have integrity and honesty. And, you have every right to expect it from Zero and any other sitting US president. If people don’t like your apt characterizations, then they probably need to do a bit of soul searching, themselves.
