Now I wonder why Roger Harrabin would have this picture on his Twitter home page?

Answers on a postcard to the Global Warming Propaganda Dept at the BBC.

Isn’t photography a marvelous thing? With the right setting and right angles, you can make any point you want. Wonder if he used the same photographers wind advocates do to make wind plants look Norman Rockwellish.

And there was me thinking how nice a photo it was.

It makes you proud to be British (the photo – obviously not the BBC)

I used to drive down the A50 from Derby to the M1 every day. A view like that, of Ratcliffe on Soar power station, was a regular feature at certain times of the year when sunrise and my commute coincided. The sun rising behind a reliable energy source used to fill my heart with a sense of well being and the knowledge that in the rest of the world many were less fortunate.

Harrabin should count his blessings, or do without electricity 23h 40m per day.
