Christian Aid Saving The World From Global Warming!
By Paul Homewood

It seems Christian Aid are banging their global warming drum again!
Maybe they could tell us where all these communities are around the world, who are suffering from the effects of climate change?
Their website does actually offer a couple of case studies.
The worst rains for 40 years? I wonder what caused them then!
They continue with the usual weasel words:
While we can’t say for certain that these floods specifically relate to climate change, we know that more extreme and erratic weather patterns are a direct consequence of climate change.
But, of course, we know no such thing. What we do know is that extreme weather has not been increasing.
Then we have Ethiopia.

Droughts in Africa? Who would have thought.
Back in 1973, UNESCO reported that devastating droughts in Africa were the result of global cooling, and speculated that this was causing the Sahara to move south.
Perhaps Christian Aid should concentrate on helping people who have suffered from natural disasters, and forget left wing politicking.

As the number of believers in the Christian myths shrinks, so Christian Aid has to try to drum up support in other beliefs
They had a “Fast for the climate” last November, during which they suggest ‘tens of thousands of people stood in solidarity with communities devastated by Typhoon Haiyan and fasted during the UN climate negotiations.’
“They took their lead from Yeb Saño, delegate for the Philippines. Despairing at world leaders’ lack of ambition, Saño pledged not to eat during the conference”
I wonder how many donations were needed to send all these Christian Aid delegates to the Lima gab-fest; and, how much their travel carbon footprint contributed towards climate change?

Yes using money donated for Aid to send their people half way around the world to attend a gabfest.
The MSM should be all over them, but won’t be.
There is nothing Christian in this.
The global warming, climate change or rising seas alarmists know nothing and care nothing about climate. As admitted by the IPCC, their campaign is intended to redistribute wealth with the aim of impoverishing those that have. I doubt that they care about making the poor less poor. I am sure that they are still trying to fight the war on behalf of the beloved soviet union.
I thought this would not be a Christian thing to do. I was wrong.
I hope a LOT of people start asking them for help with their electricity bills !!
If these people really care (yeah, right) they would be fighting against all this stupid non-alternative, non-energy that is causing energy poverty.

The reason they’re on the global warming bandwagon is related to the real reason behind the entire thing. The real goal of global warming activists is to transfer the power of allocation of energy from the market to government agencies. Once government is in control of who gets access to energy (and who doesn’t), The socialist dream of the control of industry will be complete. The thing these Christians fail to understand is that once the socialists are in control, they don’t care much for religious groups. Government will take care of all the social problems and the state will be the only allowable deity.
I am a christian, but long ago gave up on Christian Aid. About a decade ago they were promoting an end to global poverty, but in 80 page documents never once mentioned the element that is ending absolute poverty – high levels of long-term economic growth.
There is something else missing in all the reports. The mention of a name that is central to Christian faith. Searching on any report from Christian Aid is unlikely to reveal a single hit. Long ago, Christian Aid was taken over by left-wing activists.
