According to NOAA, SST’s are at a record high. We are told this is all due to GHG emissions.

However, if this is true we should surely see a warming signal across all oceans. But the distribution of SST anomalies across the oceans shows nothing of the sort.

There are huge variations around the world, which must surely drown out any GHG forcing. Unlike the atmosphere where weather fronts can quickly move warm and cold air around, oceans are far more stable.

The sort of changes seen on the map are the result of mammoth natural forces, such as ocean currents and solar/cloud effects, about which we still only have the most rudimentary knowledge.

Whatever the effect of GHG on sea temperatures, and some would argue this is minimal, it must be impossible to measure it amongst so much noise.

The cold blob in the North Atlantic seems just bizarre. There is so much we need to understand better about the oceans and their influence on climate.

The AMO is turning negative at the moment so that’s it.

The cold blob in the North Atlantic is just a cover ….that’s where all the heat is hiding It’ll jump out & say BOO just before Paris

NOAA is a criminal organization Im surprised you put up any data from them! LOL. T Heller has covered this extensively

Sorry for being off topic, but my blood is boiling

Aussies that voted Liberal last election (that’s conservative down here)… DON’T MATTER.

This is where the corruption of politics by the AGW agenda has come to !!!

Big story abbot was kicked out because he was about to embark on an audit of the Australian Meteorological service

Paul BBCWS Radio news just been hyping the ArcticMix project from Scripps
“Preliminary data collected by a group of oceanographers reveals that turbulence in the Arctic Ocean is stirring up heat from its depths (??? yes bizarre). Scientists are concerned that as the Arctic icecap shrinks and exposes more water to the air the wind will whip up more eddies and accelerate the melting process …”
..Emm this is a theory I heard about at least 1 year ago.

The newspage on the item (in the Beaufort Sea)
..note how the footage is credited not to the BBC but green film-maker Faith Haney

That’s right, we have so little knowledge on ocean forces and solar/cloud effects. One thing is for sure: oceans are very complex ant they are the ones that make climate here, on Earth. Here are some ideas about the way that oceans influence climate: http://oceansgovernclimate.com/oceans-govern-climate/

It seems odd, and may reflect how little we know that the Great Lakes appear quite warm in this scan even though ice was still in some of the lakes way later than usual this Spring. It says to me that the word “surface” is extremely important in gaging the import of what we see here.

I’m looking forward to the lid being blown off the AGW construct. Overall, it wouldn’t appear I have long to wait. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7whL9jvdL5s
