Jet Stream Slows Down As It Gets Faster!!
April 30, 2016
By Paul Homewood
As a footnote to the New Scientist piece on Greenland meltdown, it is interesting to note that Jennifer Francis is pushing her widely derided theory that loss of Arctic ice is causing the jet stream to slow down – something she then uses to blame every bit of bad weather on.
Readers will no doubt recall that fellow junk scientist, Dr Paul Williams of Reading University, has been claiming that global warming is causing the jet stream to become stronger.
In climate science, it seems that you can make up whatever BS you want!
UK taxpayers are paying Mr Williams £91k a year for this nonsense.

Yet another so called scientist who has been tutored far beyond their ability to reason and understand.
These people should be sacked immediately and made to return all remuneration they have received for their miseducation and employment as some sort of expert.
These people wouldn’t survive very long in industry where they have to demonstrate to customers that their product works.
From the New Scientist report:
“But there is some evidence that water that refreezes can precondition the snowpack to more rapid melt later on in the summer.” This is because, as it percolates into the snow, it takes heat with it.

Water that refreezes…takes heat with it — how does that work?
well er, em, I’m sitting here with dog, we think it works the same way as metals cool & solidify – thereby can conduct heat to where they meet / contact differing temperature regions – ie there is a temperature differential
