‘MPs condemn BBC’s biased covering following the referendum: Group write to director general to protest the number of pro-EU speakers’

A coalition of Conservative and Labour MPs are accusing the BBC of bias
They accuse the BBC of giving too much airtime to pro-EU supporters
Analysis has found pro-EU voices are twice as likely to appear on Radio 4
Several peers have also signed the stinging letter to BBC DG Tony Hall

Signed. I notice that this morning the BBC is in full on mode about “heat trapping” gases causing warning (according to the environment correspondent, who doesn’t do science).

      R4 6am News on a multi-billion $$ broadcaster BBC
‘HFCs were introduced to replace CFCs which needed to be replaced due to their effect on global warming.’

Thinking CFC’s were replaced cos of global warming !
WTF no one in the R4 news workplace noticed an error like that ?

and that is apart from the agenda bias
Auntie is like a mad old woman next door who keeps banging on about how evil Trump and Brexit are, whilst saying “that Hilaryhas a nice smile..and then goi ng on and on about some Trans friends she has.

The National Grid have just published the winter outlook

Give the post here a few weeks ago about the sticky plaster added to the capacity graph – their “30% increased capacity” looks like PR flannel….

    – anybody know if *any* bookmakers are offering odds on power cuts?

Being an American citizen, I cannot sign – but am sympathetic to your cause. Media outlets behaving like PR firms for select political causes need to be called out for what they are – propaganda organs.

As a UK citizen who HAS signed, I’d like to say thanks for your support and please, do keep spreading the word in your neck of the woods because the more vocal we are, the more others will hear what we’re saying.

It appears that I, as a Channel Islands resident (and therefore a British citizen) am also unable to sign, which I consider a little unfair, as we still have to pay that wretched licence fee.

Que? Well at least rejoice as a Channel Islander you are not an EU citizen and long may that remain.

If only it was only the BBC
It is incredible that the whole media these days has become stuck in a kind of groupthink originating of political correctness, which tells you there is a correct way of thinking..that has exapanded so that there is a ‘correct line about everything that people are afraid to deviate from.
Now maybe ideas such as equality are universal, but in other issues the groupthink has certainty way beyond the evidence : the media groupthink is that Brexit and Trump are evil etc.
So now this label and dismiss trick means the political left has become as kneejerk and hateful as the old Alf Garnett types they regard as their nemesis..

One thing is the BBC used to stick to its charter , but it breaks it 1,000 times /day without impunity … what happened to that super complaint that Piers Corbyn and Lord Monckton put in ?

As expats who paid the licence fee over many years for little benefit I too am annoyed at not having a vote. I used to shout at the screen when there was (frequent) obvious bias. We were fed up with David (the ‘sainted’?) Attenborough so haven’t bothered with him for years. A pity, as the photography was often very good. And so it went on. Make them earn their ridiculously high fees.

I’ve watched very little TV for years. I’m not sure whether to rate the ABC (Australia) as even worse, if that’s possible.

Australias’ ABC is just as bad. Their bias is so obvious it’s embarrassing to an old lefty like me. The description of ABC presenters and panelists as ‘pouting scolds and giggling man boy comedians’ is so appropriate. Sad to see public broadcasting degenerate to this level.

The BBC’s principal Brexit assassins are the gleefully snide Laura Kuenssberg, the brainwasher Kamal Ahmed, the grinning complacent Norman Smith, the I know it all Victoria Derbyshire and the brainwashed leftist news readers. They are a disgrace to what was once an impartial BBC. I think it’s wonderful that Theresa May is playing her cards close to her chest and long may she succeed in keeping all the media vultures at bay. Sh is a very clever lady, a breath of fresh air and worth ten of each if the above. I have signed the petition ‘Revoke the BBC’s charter’. It is time they are put in their place.
