President Trump will announce his decision on the involvement of the United States in the Paris Climate Agreement on Thursday afternoon, according to a tweet the president sent on Wednesday night.

Trump is expected to announce that he is pulling the United States out of the deal, two sources told Fox News.

"I will be announcing my decision on Paris Accord, Thursday at 3:00 P.M.  The White House Rose Garden.  MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump tweeted on Wednesday.

    Bring it on.
If he doesn’t bottle it, this could be a very important moment in history. The potential implications for global economics are profound. I don’t think that is overstating the case.

I hope he pulls out if only for the sake of the USA, sadly I see no change in our own position.

I notice that the BBC is full on with its anti-Trump propaganda. BBC biased. Never!

The BBC World Service (anything to avoid UK politics) has gone beyond parody in its anti-Trump campaigning. Someone with legal expertise, a lot of time, and some money should take them to court.

True Believers with good maths agree with Trump.
eg Far left environmentalist Paul Kingsnorth speaking on BBC Radio 3 Arts and Ideas in April

“We have a SPURIOUS Paris Climate Change agreement, which no one really signed up for which doesn’t change anything”
“It’s meaningless ….it’s not going to change anything ..even if Donald doesn’t pull out of it”

But a minute later he’s stating as fact “We are going to have a 4C temperature rise”

A missing point about those rapid temperature rise predictions is that there is nothing meaningful “we” can do about it. Any attempts will be purely symbolic and very expensive.

As the French Mathematical Modelling Company concluded: “The battle against global warming is an absurd, costly and pointless crusade.”

He will no doubt give his reasons for doing so in which case it may open up an interesting dialogue, which e.g. the BBC will have to air.

He may find it politically useful to give the CAGW crowd a kick in the outrages. Or he may pay lip-service to the religion but secretly and indirectly defund it. Or…he may just bottle it.

He gave them a kick in the outrages.

He was clever enough to bring it down to “unfair distribution of burden” rather than “unnecessary burden.”

Oh Chinaman! Of course I will cut my own balls off – as soon as you have severed your own goolies!

Trump has no idea what the Paris agreement is about and therefore he does not know what he is refusing to sign up to.
Tonight on BBC (Washington division) were discussing this in the studio waiting for Trump to speak and no BBC person said anything to indicate that they themselves understood the agreement. There was no understanding that although China ‘stands shoulder to shoulder’ with the West on the agreement; China itself is not committed to even thinking about reducing emissions until after 2030. The whole thing is a joke.

In his speech Trump specifically noted that China would not have ANY restrictions for another thirteen years. Trump has no scientific ideas – but he knows a stich-up by global elites when he sees one.

My son was stranded in PARIS yesterday because there was NO fuel (oh the joys of a country which has just rejected populism in favour of the same-old-same-old elitist socialist rulers.) Fortunately, a fellow biker sold him a few liters, and off towards another country he shot. It is good to exit Paris.

You were dead right dave! When I watched his speech, no idea about the science but he went into bat for his country which is exactly what our idiot politicians should have done.
