Greenpeace and the Scientists agree:

One slight problem though! The “scientists” were really from the Onion, a satirical website:

Perhaps Greenpeace might like to consult some real scientists next time!

The lab coats ought to have given it away to these muppets.
Seriously, it just demonstrates their gullibility.
The greenpeace problem is that they prefer moonshine to sunshine.
The Greenpeace problem is the word green.
And the word “peace”.
It is almost as good as Greenpeace having to admit their facts were really just opinions with no evidence behind them:

Par for the course for Greensleaze.
I’m sure they would have read the article to the end, BUT the sun went down and the wind was calm, so they lost all power.
Meanwhile, Dale Vince is in the news again. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/06/24/exclusive-green-energy-tycoon-eye-storm-electric-car-charging/
Missing is the real economic limitation on the growth of electric transport – the replacement of huge treasury revenue streams by subsidies. This is truly unsustainable, like “renewable energy” itself, and therefore self limiting, as has been recognised even within the German green movement.

Still you have to hand it to Dale’s ability to corrupt the most eco-benevolent of movements in selling a turbine to the RSPB for erection at a bird sanctuary.

And if these technologies were ‘so ready to go’ then one presumes that also means they are economically viable and so the question is why aren’t companies rushing to implement them without the need for taxpayer cash?
