A Much Warmer Northern Hemisphere
During the Medieval Warm Period, wine vineyards flourished in Scandinavia and Russia at the same latitude (55°N) where polar bears roam today.

Earlier in the Holocene, when CO2 levels hovered around 260 ppm, vast forests extended all the way up to the coasts of the Arctic Ocean (Russia), suggesting temperatures were up to 7°C warmer than today (MacDonald et al., 2000).

What do they teach the kids about Swedish history in their schools? It probably applies to Norway and Canada as well.

Is this an instance of the “Gore Effect?” Whenever Al Gore holds a climate warming speech, snow is sure to show up. So this would be the “Greta Effect?”

Ironically enough, she wishes a cold harsh future for us all, momma gaia might just oblige, luckily for greta she’ll be safely cossetted away, her family are rich – and have very wealthy connections – simply soopah and oh she’s so cool.

Hope Greta has a few pairs of knee length wool stockings if and when she returns to her native Sweden. Winters are especially cold there.
If she’s sponsored by all these philanthropist people fighting against poverty, she should have promoted electricity generation by best means amongst the Asian and African poor. Instead we had a demeaning bad-tempered rant from a privileged teenager of no particular talent.
