If that’s the future of humanity……….!!

And heavens know what those hi-viz plods thought they were doing. Still, better than a day’s work, I suppose!

Och Paul, … you expect ME to watch that drivel ? –‘how dare you! ‘ 🙂
I completely fail to see how that kind of action relates to ANYTHING – other than they ARE on the Baccy stuff – Cart them off the scene ASAP! – is this the science they learnt at Uni. ? disruptive science perhaps ? a little learning goes a loooong way to not finding the solution….

Does anybody have a clue what these loonies were doing? Put the strait-jackets back on and send them back to the bin.

My theory is that they are all unemployed perform arts graduates and this is what they were trained to do (PS I didn’t watch it because I have already seen what they do elsewhere and I couldn’t stand any more).

£400 a week(cash.. the “gig economy” + vegan grub?). We heard some are paid …. it’d be handy if those payments were declared in mandatory statements of income required for assessing fines etc… HMRC might want to look at employer side stuff?

They are atoning for their past sins if you believe the blurb!

What XR forget is that the sins are against their beliefs not mine or yours, so leave us alone and get off the streets.

Perhaps Gove meets them at the school gates when he is trying to avoid Bercow’s children and Sally?

They’re performing a viable public service demonstrating how to commute to/from work/ local pub/ market in the near future with zero petrol (Mopeds permanently parked) and minimal (if any) electrical power for street lighting and electric trolleys/ buses/ trains. No more planes. Vacation? Have do like Greta, the Great and Powerful ‘Wunder’ Kid and sail to your destination.

Lessee…fiberglass hull, (insert wonder-fiber) sail, Al mast/boom, nylon lines,… uh, the required materials are originating from recycled (that’s where the “excess” elec power is consumed!?) windmills, PV cells, beer cans, Li-ion batteries, refrigerators, stoves (elec/gas), Mopeds…?

These are the people who call me ignorant, uneducated, selfish, right wing facist, middle class planet wrecker killing the children of the future.

But just as I am shocked by this folly I am equally disappointed by the inappropriate language of the comments when I hoped for something more intelligent. Is this what we have come to? I am ashamed of all involved, like two tribes of screaming apes meeting in the jungle (with apologies to the apes)?

Where has civilisation gone? – To the medi-evil ages could be a flippant reply. DON’T be ashamed of other fools – they have had their chances in education. I had a converstion with an upstanding local businessman who was brought up in a local poor & rough area in our local town. He gets HOPPING MAD ( can just see him stotting at the thought of it again) when ppl go on about their deprived childhood.
Unfortunately those of us who happen to hold views to the “right” of those “left-wingers” tend to be a quiet ‘majority’ (?) and get on with living our lives under the duress of the Mouthy Governing types. The Remoaners and Indyrefs fall into this category – Yap yap yap and flying THEIR flag in an intimidating fashion, aided and abetted by the MSM.
‘better to say “YES” than be seen to NOT BE one of them’ seems to be something instilled within us. Hence predetermined referenda questions tend to be framed in that tone – and of course when it doesn’t work ….. Thence the screeching and wailing and dancing. Huhhh talk about Drama queens!

Met Police have finally had enough.

Extinction Rebellion: Police ban London protests
    1 hour ago

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor said the ban had been imposed due to breaches of the Public Order Act and “ongoing serious disruption to the community.”

Yes, ……. so what’s the difference nowadays of slapping someone in the face repeatedly and causing them, thereby, grief, AND getting in their way , preventing them from going about their daily duties- UNTIL the police arrive SEVERAL DAYS LATER?
If the Firebrigade did that, we could save costs and not bother having a brigade – house would already have been well and truly burnt down.

Malcolm Bell: I have just learned the derivation of the perjorative word “gammon” which these people call people like me and probably you and the rest of this site’s followers. It comes from other races referring to our skins going pink in the sun so we take on a porcine appearance. So basically calling us pigs. Not very happy.

Just like throwing the term “Denier” about – it’s clearly intended to infer that we’re Holocaust Deniers…

Predictably, as an ex copper, I’ll present the case for the Police.

From experience, I can promise you, those coppers ar gagging to sling a few of that lot in the nick, but that’s the objective, to clog up our justice system. They are told NOT to apply for bail as it means they will be held at HM’s pleasure for longer.

However, whilst the police would undoubtedly be vilified for ‘kettling’ or being brutal enough to arrest them, they are playing a canny game by allowing the XR protesters to disrupt lives and thereby lose public sympathy. The cops may not be popular for doing nothing but they are not being condemned for brutality.

Meanwhile, those 1,000 or so arrested will be processed – their DNA taken, fingerprinted and photographed, which will surprise and upset many of them. Who knows what these processes will reveal as they are filtered through a database of known offenders.

Of the many others who are identified from on scene photographs and ‘super spotters’, many will receive a visit at home for an ‘interview’ about their activities. At the very least that will get the suburban net curtains twitching.

And if you imagine all the photographers in evidence are press, then think again. The Department of Work and Pensions will be out in force, identifying those ‘unfit’ for work but capable of participating in a demonstration. They too will be receiving some unexpected home visits.

Policing is no longer about physical confrontation, sometimes it’s just about giving people enough rope.

And if anyone is in any doubt about XR’s intentions, be assured, it is nothing to do with climate change, it’s about a new world order as expressed by the leader himself, Roger Hallam:

    Very interesting little video.
