Australian legislator uncovers that country’s Bureau of Meteorology fiddling with temperature records to hype warming

The Australian BOM have been caught red handed again, fiddling with temperature records:
If global warming is real and a threat to the world, why do people keeping temperature records keep "adjusting" or "rectifying" the data to make it look like warming is increasing?
From Down Under, a member of the federal House of Representatives named Craig Kelly — a member of the Liberal Party, which is conservative — has caught that nation’s Bureau of Meteorology altering graphs showing the number of very hot days so as to obscure the fact that 1952 had more of them than recent years and adding a newly "discovered" hot day to a more recent year to make it appear that they are increasing.
I quote and use graphics from his Facebook account:
Not only did the Bureau’s graph showing the year 1952 as having the highest ‘number of very hot days’ (and the year 2011 with the lowest number) disappear down a memory hole — but a new ‘rectified’ graph has appeared in another section of their website.
And surprise, surprise — the year 1952 no longer has the highest ‘number of very hot days’. The old graph recorded 21 very hot days in 1952, while the new ‘rectified’ graph shows only 16 very hot days.
Further, for the year 2011 — which embarrassingly for Alarmists previously had the lowest ‘number of very hot days’ going back to 1910 — the Bureau has skilfully been able to find another very hot day for 2011, (I wonder where it was hiding ?) so that year no longer holds the lowest record !
As Orwell foretold in the novel 1984 ……….

I was browsing the history of the Global Warming hoax and came across this gem. While it revolves around the USA it applies to western democracies. Canada was recently caught fluffing all weather data prior to 1950 because it upset the Climate models.

NOAA has “corrected” virtually all of the 48 US state monthly temperatures for the older warm years going back to 1921. These were the official values of the US Weather Bureau, NOAA’s predecessor. The adjustments are seasonal and almost all of them have been lowered. It is obviously not some conspiracy, but does not make sense when the increasing background UHI is a problem.

Yes Conspiracy. The Climategate emails (remember them?!) reveal these liars and fakers colluding to ‘cool the past’ temperature records. After the emails surfaced they paused their conspiracy, but now they are fullbore rewriting history in true Nazi style. Official bodies in USA, Canada, NZ, Aus have all been exposed and documented as liars and cheats deleting scientific records. Book burning is once again a major academic pastime.
Given that fiddling with the temperature records is not just limited to the US or Australia, it must be a conspiracy with the aim of providing the IPCC with temperature records that come close to their modelling fantasies. Note how the surface temperature sets are diverging from the UHA satellite record. A body – the name of which escapes me – has declared that the surface datasets are no longer fit for purpose and will only rely on the UAH.
The hockey stick temperature graph was produced in 1998. Some said hold on! there might be an error, but the climate idiots have continued on their doomsday scenario, because they like it that way.
If hockey stick was correct then it would be bl**ding obvious, there would be no debate.
Fiddling with various temperature squiggles doesn’t prove anything other than idiots rule the world.
Surely this fiddling of the records constitutes criminal activity? At the very least it is malfeasance in public office. Meanwhile, late October, I had to de-ice my car windscreen for the first time this Autumn. Surely people can’t fail to notice that the weather is the same as it always was for ever.
Surely someone in authority such as an elected member of parliament must be able to ask questions, such as for a full written explanation as to why these figures have been altered – and if the explanation is not satisfactory to keep on asking – in parliament if necessary. There are still some very good MP’s who will do this.

The Bureau of Meteorology, once a team of dedicated weather ‘boffins’, has become a propaganda unit and ought be retitled the ‘Adjustment Bureau’.
Occasionally even respected science writers justify adjusting ‘ancient’ raw data but surely if there is doubt the proper approach is to leave the data as recorded and employ or extend error bars, but I guess that would spoil the dramatic visual impact if the charts.

Australia has become an interesting place after the last election. Funny stuff is undug and sometimes I have a feeling that the scam shall be tackled actively. It looks like some folks there have come to understand that fancy stories won’t help with the huge utility bill.
Cooling the past is what they do.
Given the minuscule variations and the overall false precision ingrained in all temperature records, the ‘annual number of very hot days’ metric would be easy to fiddle.
As Winston Smith famously noted: “Who controls the past controls the future, who controls the present controls the past”.
Perhaps our politicians would understand if instead of science we adopted newspeak ….. a bit like the Latin that they all speak so fluently: – The Thinkpol demand bellyfeel and we oldthinkers are committing crimethink by contradicting the Prolefeed duckspeak.
They can fudge what ever they want, the only thing that matters here is whether adding more Co2 to the atmosphere will make the world much warmer?
Everything hinges on this one question. If Carbon Dioxide is not a significant cause, then carbon sequestration, cap-and-trade, emissions trading the Kyoto agreement and the IPCC are a waste of time and money.

The BoM has also changed the average yearly mean temperatures from at least 1995 to 2017 by a 0.1C increase as a result of ACORN2.
For instance, in the climate summaries 2011 is recorded as -0.14C but has been adjusted up to 0.0C in the adjusted Timeseries data.
