Cuomo’s Fake Claims About Extreme Rainfall

November 5, 2019

By Paul Homewood

Cuomo also implied in that MSNBC interview earlier that extreme rainfall was getting much worse in NY State.

However there is absolutely no evidence of that at all at the long running Ithaca station, or New York itself:

Highest Daily Precipitation by Year

Trouble is these people do not bother to actually check fact before they spout off, Unfortunately the MSM do not point out these lies, as it is contrary to their brain washed beliefs.
Trumps decision to quit Paris and all the US money that has been pledged is, maybe, part of the fight back.
Certainly the working taxpayers are beginning to not believe all the CC crap.

Democrat Cuomo would not want to tell the truth even if he knows what that is as it runs against his socialist plans. The real blame lies with the legacy media for failing dismally to actually do any journalism.

Why would anyone want to believe a man who played a big part of the sub-prime financial scandal that created hardships for everyone involved? He was Obama’s HUD secretary.

Come on Paul, you are being so unfair to this poor politician.
You keep using these FACTS to discredit him.
It is just not fair because he doesn’t have any of his own.

If that is bad consider an article in the Daily Mail in which “11,000 scientists signed……..”

I wonder if there is a major climate conference coming up?

The BBC has the same story , complete with impressive maps, which unfortunately show the whole of Russia as having had a warm October, which by my understanding they had anything but.

What about the millions of scientists who didn’t sign it?

Of course, most of the scientists who signed have no expertise in climate. Indeed, The original paper states that many of the top climate scientists have not signed, The list of signatures is referenced, but my computer gives an alarm when trying to access the site:
      ‘This site is not secure
This might mean that someone’s trying to fool you or steal any info you send to the server. You should close this site immediately’.
That rather sums up the whole issue!
Definitely a paper that gives views rather than science, shows that the journalists are doing just a cut and paste job, with no journalistic checking of fact involved. And the poor public believe all this crap because ‘scientists say’. What a false world we live in!

Let’s not forget that this jerk is AKA the Father of the subprime fueled housing bubble that led to the2008 financial collapse and thus to the Great Recession.

    Throw him in the river.

Dude – The subprime mortgages weren’t the only reason for the recession. The subprime mortgages, though, WERE the way the gov’t used to trap millions of people into poverty for the rest of their lives. The recession was planned. They always are. You think the Fed Reserve couldn’t stop it? Of course they could. They knew it was coming. They knew repealing Glass-Steagall would be a disaster, and the banks would fail. So they bailed out the banks they wanted to, moved over a $1 trillion in bad debts off their books permanently and GAVE the banks over $4 trillion more. Yes, that is $4 trillion. See Nomi Prins, former bankster, now truth teller, author of “Collusion.” She’s on YouTube.

Since the Fed can print money whenever it wants to – we are on fiat currency – fake money. The Fed Reserve is a private corporation that can create as much money as we want, whenever we want. It also charges the United States INTEREST on our own damn money!! That’s why the GOP no longer cares (i.e. acts like they care) about deficits and the debt – cuz technically, the U.S. can’t go bankrupt. The value of the dollar can become deflated, we can have severe inflation, we can have negative interest rates…. but technically not go bankrupt. Might as well be.

What we CAN do….. arguably already have…. is become the laughingstock of the world and lose all credibility. Ain’t no one gonna trust us after Trump. Especially after Syria and this Ukraine deal. Maybe if we get Biden, cuz they know him. I don’t trust him, he’s another corporatist, like Clinton and Obama, but who else can beat Trump?? Only person I see beating Trump on the left other Biden is Bernie and no way the Dems will let that happen. They already made that clear blocking him in 2016 – he could’ve beaten Trump then. On the right…. I have no idea who the Trumpsters will vote for. Unless the RNC refuses to put him up for the general ticket. Smartest thing they could ever do. Moderates like Sandford and Weld would easily give Biden a tough go.

We need to get rid of BOTH of our parties and have NO party labels. Just run on ideas. NO money in politics. NO lobbying. NO PAC money. Individuals can donate up to $1,000 per candidate per voting cycle. That’s $1,000 including the primary AND the general election. Nope….. won’t ever happen.

Cuomo is governor since 2011. He has been elected and re-elected so that says something about the smarts (or the lack thereof) of his voting base in New York. The house of cards starts to show quite some tilt and he needs all the excuses he can muster but in the end, reality will bite.

Off thread sorry but I note as of now that UK Wind is producing three per cent of our electricity while Coal is at four and a half per cent. Demand is quite high and grid management quite testing. Did I hear this on the BBC?

Gerry, as of right now the Dutch interconnector is flat out at plus one GW which is the same as all our windmills’ output.
