Once again Sky News Australia shows up the uselessness of our media. Congrats as well to MP, Craig Kelly:

The Secretary General of the United Nations in recent history has been a Marxist bent on picking the pockets of the developed nations to placate the undeveloped ones.

This information about deaths from Climate incidents is actually “included” (buried deeply) in the IPCC reports, but the idiots are in charge so anything goes.

I have enjoyed President Trump’s two speeches to the UN. He stands there looking out at the bar scene from Star Wars and gives it to them.

If only we had a few MP’s like this. If only…..

But no, we have this: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/dec/08/what-will-you-do-about-the-climate-crisis-the-parties-answer

“Is the climate crisis the biggest issue the UK faces as a nation?

Conservatives: Yes, it is one of the biggest issues facing the world. Thanks to the efforts of successive governments, the UK has cut carbon emissions by more than any similar developed country. We have also already doubled our support for developing nations to tackle climate change.

Greens: Absolutely. The science is clear: it is the biggest threat facing the UK and the world.

Labour: Yes and this election is our last chance to tackle it. We’re already off course to meet our targets and radical and urgent action over the next five years is essential.

Liberal Democrats: Yes, a Liberal Democrat government would solve Brexit on day one, so climate change would be the biggest issue.

SNP: Scotland – like the rest of the world – faces a climate emergency. We have a moral responsibility to tackle climate change and will lead the way in showing how our society can transition to net zero.

Labour: We’re doing more than just changing the planning laws, we’re going to build them ourselves. We’ll build 2,000 new onshore wind turbines and enough solar panels to cover 22,000 football pitches. We’re not going to wait around for the market to pick up its act.”

I don’t know who to vote for ! They’re all as mad as each other. Seems they dare not disagree with Greta.

Vote Loony. The only sane party.

Just watching it now and heard that the wild-fires currently raging there are due to coal. Not sure how that works.

The fires are due to someone setting them originally.

Years of neglect in reducing the fuel load due to increased bureaucratic Greens determined to “lock up” national parks. Fire trails (for access to fight fires) were blocked off and allowed to become overgrown with scrub.
For 80 years the advice has been to reduce the fuel load by small planned fires and has been ignored. The result is firestorms that are uncontrollable.
Now the Greens are looking for excuses.

According to this post at http://joannenova.com.au/2019/12/skeptics-win-on-fires-abc-quiet-flip-suddenly-its-fire-management-not-climate-change-to-blame/ there is a slight awakening as opposed to woke in the media including the TV service ABC. Recognition the lax forest management is the cause of the fire severity.

Paul, it really is a great video, simple and straight forward.

Here’s another one from Sky News Australia about the blackouts in Alice Springs:

Apparently it was caused by a drop in power output from a large solar farm when a cloud passed overhead! Now the government wants even more solar parks.

The ‘impartial’ BBC ended a segment on supposedly undecided voters on the lunch news with the last word from a black lady (probably LBGTQXYZ+!#* and disabled too but not immediately obvious). She had now decided to vote Labour because ‘climate change’.

    Hey ho.

I don’t know why but I found the audio quality poor and could only pick up some words but the gist was marvellous. Also I don’t understand the Guardian’s involvement in this; they are surely not promoting it??

The Guardian? I don’t believe they were mentioned in the video. The programme is called Outsiders, an antidote to the ABC’s programme with left wing panellists ranting in unison about climate change and how marvellous Greta Thunberg is. The host is the excellent Rowan Dean, editor of the New Statesman Australia. Here he makes fun of the alarmists’ predictions of no more snow (in Australia it’s been snowing!)…

      @ Jackington
The Guardian wasn’t mentioned in the (excellent) video. The commenter – the well-known Mr Dennis Ambler – was simply comparing the Australian MP Craig Kelly’s well-informed and knowledgeable piece in the video, to our own (UK), useless, political parties (across the board) ignorant stance on AGW, as listed in the Guardian.

Craig Kelly was correct drawing attention to deaths caused by indoor air pollution in the Third World due to lack of cheap reliable electricity, however Guterres’ crafty conflation “air pollution associated with climate change” is the fundamental lie that is perpetuated and ought to be condemned whenever it is made.
Whatever the phrase ‘climate change’ means, it has nothing to do with air pollution.

Well done Craig Kelly. It is a great pity that we do not have politicians like him in the UK. We need more politicians, individual members of the public and organisations to challenge the lies and scaremongering that has become the staple of the green movement and the media in the UK. We also need , dare I say it, an anti climate change lies political party. This dangerous cult needs to be challenged before there is serious damage done to our economy and society. We certainly need people like Craig Kelly here in the UK to speak out and challenge the lies that are at the core of this green cult.

Fear not, UKIP has the right policies and will rise from the ashes. Their manifesto is spot on.
Craig Kelly has called out the politicians for what they are – absolute charlatans. It needs emphasising that science has nothing to do with the issue – it is a political construct right from the start.

Oct 8, 2019 Australians ‘are not silly’ and won’t buy into climate change ‘hysteria’

NSW One Nation leader Mark Latham says the majority of Australians are “not silly” and will not be fooled by the rhetoric pushed by climate activists.
