New Video Series From Naomi Seibt & Lord Monckton

June 1, 2020

By Paul Homewood

Naomi Seibt and Lord Monckton are collaborating on a new series of climate videos. The first two are now available, and cover the so-called claims of 97% consensus.

The first acts as a general introduction, but Part 2 gets into the nitty gritty.

They are certainly worth sharing on Facebook etc.

The detailed background to Cook’s 97% was analysed in my post in October 2015, here:

Paul’s earlier posting featured in yesterday morning’s interview with Naomi on SkyNews Australia’s Outsiders programme by Rowan Dean. This brave young woman gave a very good account of herself despite the Climate Commissars’ attempts to intimidate her. You won’t get this on the BBC:

Good on her. The climate science deniers are on the run

Apart from Cook and his friends, has anybody actually read these papers or contacted their authors? It seems a mammoth task for anybody to read them. Would be far simpler to ask the scientists what their conclusions were.

I’m also confused about why Cook would grade the papers in such a way that his fraud could easily be detected.

That’s easy. Cook got his headlines before the fraud was uncovered. That is why politicians and MSM still spout the nonsense

Wish it was true that climate change believers are on the run. What needs to be done is to move away from pointing out the problems with climate science and all those dire predictions from computer models. Move on to asking those who are so deeply concerned what can be done about a changing climate. What can realistically be accomplished that could make a difference in the short term…by 2050.

Jonathan Franzen…in the New Yorker magazine, “What If We Stopped Pretending?” summed up his argument: “The climate apocalypse is coming. To prepare for it, we need to admit that we can’t prevent it.”

What we can realistically do is to learn to better adapt to climate change regardless of which way it goes. Prepare for it, not attempt to mitigate it by lowering carbon emissions to impossible goals on impossible time scales. Pretending that sort of plan can work?

Climate Change Believers are like Joe Biden voters. Then again, they are like Trump voters too. And Fauci Followers.
We may know how the sausage is made, but we rather eat sausage than the alternative.
I do NOT believe in anthropomorphic climate change. I’m just pointing out that it is very hard to change beliefs.

The photos are creepy, gotta lose the soft focus, looks like one of those “Are you looking for a nice Russian Girl” ad.
Seriously, it’s a massive distraction and looks awful.

Definitely. Then again, I’ve seen models without makeup. I immediately wanted to shut the lights off.

    Yes, it is really bad!

Which would you rather watch with the sound off? Greta or Naomi?

Greata has advanced to the level of “Will anyone else answer that”? That, although embarrassingly revaling, is better than shouting “I want you to panic!”

Why did she film it in the bathroom? Why did Lord Monkton allow his filming to be done with the sun obscuring the picture? They need better production methods, need to make the films more professional.

A surprising piece in the Guardian of all places. Its a bit old but then again so is the World.

Poor girl! Even on here, where one would think most of the commenters would be on her side, she is getting criticised. She was hounded for having the Heartland logo in the background on her previous videos – now she’s being criticised form not only filming in a ”bathroom” – but also for ”soft-focus” (like, as one commenter said, a ‘nice Russian girl ad’. I doubt many on here are accustomed to looking for ‘Russian girls’ on the internet – I know I’m not!)

And: ‘soft focus’?? May I suggest you get yourself a new monitor? My picture of Naomi (bless her) was perfectly clear. It makes me wonder what people want – a serious, well-described message, or a beautifully produced piece of puff propaganda.

I give both Naomi and Lord Monckton 10 out of 10 for a very clear, succinct, and well argued statement of facts.

I made my comments as constructive criticism. I fully support the idea and the things portrayed in the video, it is a scandal that the 97% lie seems to be accepted as true. However I stand by my criticisms of the video production which was to my mind very poorly and amateurishly done. The message would have far more impact with a professionally produced product.

The word ”form” shouldn’t be in there!

  12. June 2, 2020 4:48 pm

    It obviously should be ‘for’.
