Keeping Our Cool

January 6, 2021

By Paul Homewood

There’s a nicely presented video by Dr John Robson, who regularly posts on YouTube, on why we should ignore the extreme claims of Greta and co.

It is aimed at laymen, with little understanding of the subject. Worth sharing with friends and family .

Right now it looks like Biden is going to win the Senate. Best thing that could possibly happen to us (and the world). If he does he will have no excuse to not implement his climate change policies to the full and he will have his feet held to the fire to do so. Then, at last, the suicidal realities of these policies will be revealed for all to see. No hiding place then!

But what about the collateral damage to the poor? Suspect that the minute the pain starts the poor will vote him out (fingers crossed).

He gets 4 years if he remains sane and healthy — both of those already in doubt.
In any case, there is no method of “voting him out.”
In 2 years voters could vote to give Republicans control of Congress, but it appears the Dems will have the 2 years to do all the damage they can.

I think Kamala Harris will be president with at least a year before the next election for the POTUS. Then she can run with the “Re-Elect” slogan. Usually that’s is a strong message.

But haven’t the Democrats already won all the future elections? I doubt Dementia Joe will last more than a year before Commie Kamala takes over. At least if a party leader goes here there is some form of vote on the replacement.

Hysteria and panic are the hallmarks of coercion and control demanded by authoritarian and totalitarian governments. Dr Robson makes a sensible request to critically question the ‘mainstream’ view ofclimate sience that we are spoon fed daily. The deliberate stifling of debate is unacceptable and his contribution is most welcome.

My worry is that the bien pensant internet masters like Google and Facebook will continue to delete anything they consider to threaten orthodox thinking, although I draw comfort from YouTube’s reversal of their dropping of Talk Radio from their channel.

Replace the sainted Greta with the idiot Hancock and the current panic over Covid seems remarkably similar. No surprise there.

    • January 6, 2021 12:08 pm

      An idiotic comment

      • January 6, 2021 12:19 pm

Why so? A reason for an ad hominem attack is generally a better approach

      • January 7, 2021 5:38 pm

I take it that you mean your ad hom attack on Hancock.

That was my thought on watching the video. The NHS is Europes largest employer and 5th largest in the world. So far the staff out number the TOTAL number of patients “with Covid” by 4 to 1. Every winter for the last 2 decades at least the NHS has been treating people in corridors. Despite regular visits by TV News crews I haven’t seen patients in corridors or in Nightingale Hospitals. There are a lot instances of nurses writing notes or a group round an electronic monitor. If this was the crisis Boris and the media would have us believe it is then arse covering note writing, and group discussions round LCD monitors would be cast aside to keep people alive.

Good post – and I have shared further on social media. I see some above have called out the U.S election. All U.S elections have been rigged to some degree, but 2020’s election was ‘off the hook’ for corruption. It set new and unprecedented lows for vote-rigging. So much so – that (to all intents and purposes) you can forget politicians and politics now in the west. We have no ‘democratic’ governance anywhere, any longer. If you wake up every day believing you have ‘democracy’ – then you may as well believe in the tooth fairy. Sorry if that stings – but it’s a fact. In order to avoid these barmy policies being foisted upon us by psychotic arsehole oligarchs and controlling, steering family dynasties (99% invisible to 99.5% of us all) – we need to find other ways to fight back other than the ballot box. That’s a spent force peeps. It’s down to encouraging and protecting smaller businesses. Stop buying everything off Amazon (lazy, lazy, lazy) and start pushing back on policies like “the end of fossil fuels by 2030”. Total crap – of course that shouldn’t happen – it’s insane.
I’d suggest you listen to Catherine Austin Fitts. A sane voice in a crazy world..

To no great surprise YouTube has censored the video. People really need to get out and use Bitchute. I see YouTube caved on talkRadio being censored – perhaps they should have left and moved to another platform.

““The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”

I have tried desperately hard to understand the mindless panic in the context of the many reasoned arguments and evidence easily available to all despite the generally one-sided approach of mainstream media. It’s a strange quirk of human nature that worst case scenarios, despite contrary evidence, are more readily credible than something less threatening. I’m not a psychologist nor an anthropologist but common sense might suggest self-preservation might play some part in such doom-mongering where the lay person is concerned – the “just-in-case” and “I’m-a-good-person-too” principles. Once the blinkers are on nothing will get past them. Not until that is – as has been mentioned – unacceptable personal cost kicks in. Otherwise for those who can or should be able to have a more nuanced understanding and reaction to the climate debate, such as academics and politicians, then something else must be in play. After all, these are supposed to be smart people. When major corporations jump onto the alarmist bandwagon, including the oil companies, then some of the fog begins to disperse. Once again it boils down to human nature; this time greed. The old axiom “follow the money” seems to clear up a huge part of the mystery. The renewables industrial complex is now a major player in the globalist economy and it brings together those three groups – academics, politicians and major corporations – under one umbrella where there is a common vested interest; money in three related forms – grants, taxes and profits; a self-perpetuating cycle of personal, institutional and corporate enrichment. It has never been about saving the planet.

I think there is the ignorant public to factor in judging by all the letters that appear in the Mail saying that if only everyone had obeyed the rules – washed their hands (works for flu not Covid), worn their masks (Danish study says not effective), kept their space (questions over this as well) – then everything would be fine. With such sheeple I fear we are doomed.

That’ll be man made climate change then. +34C would be man made global warming. Heads the alarmists win, tails the skeptics lose. Welcome to the asylum.

It’s clear that CO2 will be the root cause of such cold snaps, personally I never doubted it, but the ‘experts’ will soon be submitting articles to all the MSM to explain it.

Don’t know where to post this comment Paul, but thought you might like to know that the Spanish press are stating that Spain has just recorded its lowest ever temperature – -34.1 degrees c, 2.1 degrees lower than the previous record from 1956. They are also reporting ‘unprecedented’ snowfalls in the country.

UK Grid has fired up the OCGT and (non-pumped) Hydro, coal is having to match wind’s 3.8GW contribution. Trees (biomass) are going up the chimney like there IS a planet B.

Potential record cold Beast from the East – the area of extremely cold air in Russia has moderated, sinking slowly south. If an easterly weather progression did set in (not just an easterly wind) it would be cold but probably not record setting now. In the shorter term UK will be going milder. This potential event is for later.
