A must watch from Andrew Bolt:

How long is he going to have this show on Sky Aus?

    • April 28, 2021 1:35 pm

Sky Aus is nothing like Sky UK, Bolt is one of their superstars, I follow them via clips on youtube. The ABC (Aussie BBC) has a programme dedicated (at taxpayers expense) to attacking them, clear proof that they are popular and effective.

Different owners. Sky Aus is owned by Murdoch. Sky Uk has been sold and not influenced by Murdoch. Please Rupert, come back to the UK.

Sky TV in the UK has been owned by Comcast since 2018. TV broadcasting in the UK is notorious for its metropolitan liberal bias, and that inherent liberal bias seemed to override any influence that Murdoch might have had on Sky TV UK when he was the main owner of the channel before 2018.

To give an example of UK TV broadcasting’s metropolitan liberal bias, consider this news story regarding a Royal Television Society conference event held in 2017:

At the conference Alastair Campbell asked 280 TV executives whether they were optimistic about Brexit, and not one put their hand up. They were all Remain voters.

Sky TV in the UK seems to be trying to position itself under Comcast ownership as being the UK’s Greenest TV channel. They are a principal partner and media partner of COP 26, and now run a daily climate news show lasting 30 minutes twice a day.

      Is Boris any better???
Anyone following this or any other AGW sceptic blog would not pose such a question. Boris actually appears to be far worse than other leaders in his ambition to cripple his country’s economy and ordinary citizens’ lives with his absurd pointless policies.

Biden insults the intelligence of all rational people although he is so away with the fairies that I doubt if he realises how delusional he is. Boris Johnson is not much better.

It is a disgrace that our indigenous media is so useless and supine that we only get to hear of the twaddle being imposed on us by these nitwit globalists via an Australian news outlet.

I note that Biden’s pick as the White House’s domestic ‘Climate Czar’ is Obama’s former EPA chief Gina McCarthy. The woman who famously didn’t have a clue as to how much co2 was in the atmosphere whilst trying to legislate against it and who agreed, at a senate hearing, that spending hundreds of billions on transforming the US economy away from fossil fuels would lead to job losses and fuel poverty but, hey ho, might possibly lead to a reduction in global temperatures of 0.1C. (Is that even measurable?) However, she intoned, what was really important was not the actual result of climate action but the leadership such policies would give to the world (well, everyone except the Chinese, Indians etc who weren’t listening). With the international climate gunslinger John, ‘we need to get rid of all co2’, Kerry whispering in dementia Joe’s other ear, is it any wonder that the Yanks have really lost the plot? Unfortunately, our leaders are no better.

I’ll reiterate my comments on this same topic from WUWT

Biden Conference — Baffle ‘Em With Bull$hit.
All emotion, little if any science, observation or data.
From 1850 to today and barely +1°C difference in temperature. Not rapid warming and not unprecedented.

Additional good comment to me from Rory Forbes …
Furthermore, there was little (if any) increase in CO2 until1950. So some mysterious force caused at least half of that warming despite the low CO2. Do they expect us to believe that force miraculously stopped once anthropogenic CO2 started to rise? Hell, for the 1st 20 years of CO2 increase temperatures were falling and there was a universal global cooling scare.

Same thing as the headline. The West is hmm, I’ll go look up the official definition.
But yes, Leftists want to subjugate all humans.
The fun part a watching them draw the dividing lines.
Feminists hate transgender women. Look that up for a laugh.
China is taking over Western Europe and Africa. South America too.
But the Leftists think they will come out on top over the CCP.
Infighting between various Leftist groups doing Cancel Culture on each other is amusing.
The trick is to survive all that and be a god with guns and food.

Have you read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (, which has been translated into over 500 languages?

Don’t you realize that we are burying ourselves into our own garbage and being exposed to a myriad of toxic substances emanating from our own factories and transportation systems?

Regarding Mr. Bolt’s comments, how come that he didn’t address any of the above cited stupidities? Sadly, this appears to be a norm for the media “gurus”, after all it is much more easier to criticize than to make constructive suggestions.

Ben, if you want to solve any of your list then dont waste time and money opposing a benevolent, lifegiving trace gas called CO2, which is beneficial to the planet. The more CO2 we can release the better the plants will grow. Oh and no one has measured it causing any global warming at all. Which is a shame cause another 2 to 5 degrees of heat would be lovely, and good for nature and the planet.

      • Ben Dussan permalink
        April 29, 2021 2:12 am

bobn, I did not say, or imply, that CO2 is a problem.

I do agree with your statement and would add that astronauts and crews of atomic submarines are allowed to breathe “air” with up to 7000 ppm of CO2.
And, the air that we exhale has nearly 100 times as much CO2 as current ambient air.

      Ben Dussan,
      1) the ongoing rampant world overpopulation
By who’s theory do you recon that? Malthus or a more modern eugenicist ?
What is the ‘proper’ global population if you feel the current 8 billion(approx) is too much?
Yes there is too much wealth in too few people’s hands and that put many roadblocks into a developing country’s improvement but that is not a population problem.

Large families in very poor countries are required, particularly where infant and child mortality is high. Also a large family acts as the social services for the extended family.
As has been shown often, as the middle class/middle income becomes the major demographic in most developing countries, then the need for excessive procreation drops.
And it has been noted that if that nation also invests in better healthcare, water, and waste management, and infrastructure, initially the population rises as the mortality rate drops. However the premium is that middle income couples feel more disposed to plan their parenthood and have fewer children.
This is currently happening as noted by the IMF.

      Finance & Development, March 2020, Vol. 57, No. 1
The world population was 3 billion in 1960; it reached 6 billion around 2000, and the United Nations projects it will surpass 9 billion by 2037. The population growth rate has been slowing, however, from peak annual rates in excess of 2 percent in the late 1960s, to about 1 percent currently, to half that by 2050.

      [my bold]

Why don’t you get your head out of the sand and OPEN your eyes AND ears? The population of this world still continues to INCREASE, resulting in an increase of the depletion of our natural resources, the increase in the emission of toxic pollutants into our biosphere, the shrinking of the natural habitats of wild life, the increase in over crowdedness in urban areas, the increase of garbage generation….

      • tom0mason permalink
        April 30, 2021 11:38 pm

Ben Dussan, maybe you should lead the way by reducing the population by one, and this will have the additional benefit of reduce people’s thinking being polluted with stupid Malthusian NONSENSE.

Resent research has estimated that during the age of the dinosaurs there were millions of tyrannosaurid theropod type dinosaur i.e. Tyrannosaurus family dinosaurs. For large numbers of these animals to last so long on this planet there must have been many many millions, or billions of other dinosaurs for these top level predators to prey on. That would imply that this planet sustained many billions of dinosaurs over millions of years without difficulty. This planet can easily contain the current human population and billions more! This is because humans mostly crowd (like ants) into very compact nests of towns and cities and very sparsely anywhere else.
I would contend that this planet can easily handle twice or three times the current population without difficulty and retain most of the current wildlife, as there are more than enough resources to go round.
The major problem is man’s inhumanity to his fellow man, and the completely dumb leaders that attempt to lead national population for virtue signaling self-aggrandizement, profit or some other utterly illogical idea.

        Say the over opinionated Malthusian

    • tom0mason permalink

Ben Dussan, does not understand the difference between overcrowded cities, towns, urban areas and real overpopulation. There is more than enough food, about twice as much as required is grown. It is the Malthusian and eugenicists who are standing in the way of it’s proper distribution.
The failed thinking of a Malthusian giving the wicked of the world the option to kill people because they believe they are saving the world. Just like the evil Fabians, their eugenics philosophy, and communications with the German Nazi party, The Nazis were eugenicists and Malthusians (see Mein Kampf, chapter 4). Thus the Fabians and their eugenics movement gave the Nazi party (at the time) a fig-leaf of respectability to exterminate those who were perceived as worthless, antisocial and non-Aryan.
The philosophy of Malthus, Galton and the Fabians. Today in the USA there’s Paul Ehlrichs and John Holdren evil eugenicists outlook, in the UK we have all who subscribe to the Fabians and the LSE.

Fertility Control: Eugenics, Neo-Malthusianism, and Feminism (
“It also shows the link between feminist, eugenic, and neo-Malthusian discourses. It begins with the classic definition of eugenics and then indicates that contraceptive information would be offered to married women who are too young, ill, or weak for pregnancy, or who experienced pregnancy too frequently.”

Also see Anti-humanism, Environmentalism and the Overpopulation Myth ( )

Control: Communism, Environmentalism and the Overpopulation Myth.

The roots of environmentalism go back to the eighteenth century in the form of the overpopulation myth of Malthusianism, which was all about limiting the human population to prevent a predicted Malthusian Catastrophe, i.e. mass starvation, and for genetic purity, especially among supposedly genetically inferior groups e.g. certain races, cultures and the chronically poor. This is based on the progressive beliefs in materialism, (i.e. there is no spiritual side, only the material we can see and touch), and humanism, (i e. man is the measure of everything and determines morals to suit his circumstances). From these progressive philosophies grew socialism, communism, fascism, the eugenics[1] movement and environmentalism, all of which are about control of the masses by an elite few, and all are basically anti-human, anti-development and anti-freedom.

Humans are NOT apart from nature Ben Dessan, they are part of nature.
Only the murderous, poorly informed, or sociopathic believe in such evil ideas.
You Ben appear to wish to spread such an evil philosophy!

Biden and Harris are exactly the empty suits the Washington DC establishment have been looking for. Not since Bush the lessor have they had such a point man appointed. Both will do as their told by the corrupt billionaires who control their corrupt government. The US treasury is controlled by New York banks, their department of defence offence is controlled by the weapons industry and the State department is run by anti-Russian leftovers from the cold war. Both major political parties (two sides of the same coin) have given up the pretence of caring about the debt and will just continue on over the cliff as fast as they can go. Ok, after such finger pointing much of the West and China run their political systems on the same exponential debt model, until it all ends . . . it inevitably does and the system resets no matter how green it is painted.

All our governments are intent on pushing a crack-up boom by cloaking inflation using terms like sustainability, diversity, magic money theory (MMT) and the green new deal. How are they supposed to meet their professed outcome when a monetary expansion results in mal-investment of capital and overconsumption of resources?

At least he is trying to begin to improve the nation by reducing the socio economic dislocation, the racism, the arms…

I do disagree with the President’s views on “climate change”, and the implied insinuation that it is due to CO2 (which in my opinion is NOT a pollutant or toxic). However, I do consider it to be a fact that burning fossil fuels results in the emissions of toxic substances, and therefore it most be appropriately regulated.
