Doom-mongering journalists at Sky News are reporting unsubstantiated graphic claims that London is on course to be flooded, illustrated with an image of Buckingham Palace in 3 metres of water. The only thing that is flooded is the report – flooded with misleading climate claims. Using graphics from hyperbolic campaign group, Climate Central, Sky News implies that famous world sites including Buckingham Palace, the Burj Khalifa and the Lincoln Memorial will be completely flooded by water due to fast rising sea levels if the UK fails to halve annual emissions by 2030. Hardly water tight journalism…

That’s what made me laugh when I saw the advert for Sky News via Sky Sports where they claim they send out their intrepid reporters to provide you with the facts so that you can make your mind up instead of them preaching to you. Whoever made it has obviously never watched Sky News UK.
Don’t you mean “provide you with THEIR facts”, i.e. they’ll preach at you and make it sound like you’re making an independent decision.
The people are not conforming so the people pulling the strings from the shadows shouted MORE PROPAGANDA!
It’s difficult to have much more propaganda than we get almost daily. And wait until the conference in Scotland starts…a new heat dome?
Wait until it starts? Jeez, the EA went full ‘end of days’ catastrophe today with their head worrier’s claims being broadcast all over the Beeb. ‘Adapt or die’ folks! Yep, short of emulating Noah and building our own arks, we are all going to drown in man made flooding unless we repent our carbon sins immediately. I’m a bit shaky on my biblical history but I have a funny feeling that a plague of locusts might be just around the corner and the murder of the first born is an absolute shoe in for the COP 26 opening jamboree. I think most visitors here are living in a parallel universe to the increasingly disturbed individuals who seem to have the levers of power in the West at the moment.

Hopefully things will return to slightly more ‘normal’ after the COP26 propaganda show (where normal is lots of climate change propaganda, not 100% climate change propaganda). Has anybody heard or seen any BBC programme recently that doesn’t mention climate change or the climate catastrophe? I notice that next week there will be a BBC propaganda programme on hiding the decline. I wonder if the BBC has turned to Andrew Montford for the facts!
Had to laugh at BBC’s Countryfile on Sunday claiming that climate change was devastating not only national, but international, global spud production. Zzzzzzz. Back on planet earth, some countries had experienced local ‘weather’ issues over the past year that impacted production and some spud farmers have diversified to more profitable crops but, since man made climate change became an ‘issue’, global crop yields have been growing steadily. On the basis that, in the ‘Green Playbook’, correlation is causation, I would suggest that man made climate change has been an absolute boon for lovers of crisps, chips and a decent roastie! Despite what the BBC would have you believe. And long may the trend continue.

BBC gardeners question time last Sunday, the panel all agreed that it had been a cool year with low levels of sunlight was the reason many exotic plants had a poor showing this year, but indigenous plants had done well.
The BBC News today suddenly found that floods, drought, hot weather. storms, tornados and many other weather related incidences occur across the world every year! They also mentioned last week that a drought in a part of Africa, caused by global warming, was the worst in 90 years!!!
I don’t know why they just don’t hold all future COP-outs in Nuremburg.
& yet Gore & Obama purchase shoreside properties……..its almost as if they don’t believe in any of this sea level rise stuff……

SKY’s claims can be shown to be at the very least so unlikely as to effectively be false, unrealistic or pure propaganda.
They deserve to get it where it hurts.
Here in the US we are getting the same non-stop propaganda. It even extends down to the local news that never bothered to cover these stories before. I hope that once COPO26 is over that things will return to normal
But we are the best at demolishing power stations, what could possibly go wrong.
In among the EA predictions of doom there is a nugget of truth, the UK population increased from 65m to 75m from 1990 to 2019.
The last major reservoir was built in 1991 our water supply system will not stand a drought, net zero will not solve this.
Lack of drinking water and man made climate catastrophe are not quite top of the list in my local news rag.

These are absolute extreme possibilities, not mainstream forecasts, but the media either does know or doesn’t care to know.

And when the Jamboree fails to achieve any agreement on how to deal with the non-existent problem then perhaps the BBC, Sky, The main media, the brainless academics, the grant sucking, easy living, statistic bungling so called global warming scientists will then quieten down from projecting their many falsehoods. The sensible masses will then realise more than ever that we have been conned into believing in the biggest and the most expensive scam the world has ever seen

However the large amplitudes in tide levels recorded at the start of 20th C are largely unexplained, but in effect this means that high tide levels now are about the same as 150years ago, and to my knowledge we didn’t all drown.
Sky needs to come back down to Earth, maybe watch a few soap operas…ohh…

How about real people unable to pay energy bills and a feasible scenario of no drinking water as the government decided not to build any more reservoirs.
At some point (if not already) this propaganda becomes counterproductive. We are at the stage where the high priests still think we don’t care enough because we are not aware enough. Quite soon they will shift to outright coercion, a signal that a substantial proportion of thd population is unwilling to sacrifice their virgins to the volcanoes voluntarily. That is the end of the beginning, to coin a phrase.

index suggests that sea level has risen by between 1.2 and 1.6mm per year since 1901.

She is right about our vulnerability to drought, but that is nothing to do with climate change, the government have inexplicably not built any new reservoirs since 1991, even though population has exploded from 57m to 67m, mainly fueled by net migration of 300k per year.
Nothing inexplicable about it.
The Nimbys won’t let all that farmland be lost to a reservoir, just cover it with solar subsidy farming panels instead.
