NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT 
I saw this elsewhere and laughed myself silly. Make sure to watch to the very end or you’ll miss the punch line.
I’ve been thinking about VW getting pilloried for using slightly misleading methods for getting their diesel cars to pass ludicrously stringent emissions regulations. Electric car makers are promoting their products as being zero emissions and good for the environment when in fact they are neither. When do the EV makers get taken to court for their misleading claims?

it is not just the car industry that claim they are zero emissions but also the government.
It took me several e-mails and the help of my M.P. to get a response as to why the government describes E.V.s as zero emissions. The answer, from the Department minister, was that there are no tail pipe emissions. Now I accept that governments and their departments can seem stupid but certainly not that stupid. It clearly is to get the population to think of E.V.s as being green and similarly with heat pumps despite the fact that they will do little to reduce CO2 emissions.

But remember, if you’ve got an EV, you can have a little green tab on your number plate! So everybody knows you’re virtuous and doing your bit to SAVE THE PLANET!

The obvious truth is that a vast and rapid switch to so-called “green” technologies will require a vast increase in CO2 emissions. This was acknowledged as far back as the Stern Report (before Stern went Green crazy) in which it was stated that plant, equipment, infrastructure etc should only be replaced at the end of its life, not immediately.
So why are we doing the opposite? Because the real Greens are anti-capitalist, anti-market extremists and politicians are vain, short-termist narcissists who are willing to replace what works with what sounds good (as Sowell described Progressivism) to make themselves feel and look good.
Wealth brings luxury and the side-effect of luxury is that we can indulge fantasies and delusions – until they destroy our wealth.
What Planet Earth needs is Scrubbers and Electrostatic Precipitators and Nitrous Oxide Burners on EVERY smokestack NOW . . . Oops . . . that would mean that Environmentalists would have to ‘Crawl into bed’ with the dreaded fossil fuel industry and Industrialists to implement systems that Actually Work at cleaning up the Planet. These systems remove up to 97% of the ‘Foul Effluent’ coming from the smokestacks . . .
Oh My . . . Actual Clean-Up . . . No No No . . . We must destroy them all . . . We won’t need the clean-up . . . They will all be gone . . . no need . . .
Environmentalists have a Magic Trick . . . ‘Net Zero’ . . . let’s try that . . . Our Buddies in the ‘Clean Green’ energy world will help us sell that and they will get rich at the same time . . . Elon Musk Anyone ??
Oh . . . The Media doesn’t understand Science either . . . ‘They will help us sell this’ . . . Good! . . . Well Done!

They’ve now discontinued the Volt & gone onto the Bolt. They are BEVs.

So the battery car – and remember, Gm advise not to charge it within 50 feet of anything you value – is being charged by coal electricity. You can see why the liars in the UK government refer to emissions from the exhaust to define ‘zero emission’.

Then to add insult to injury . . . Every EV sold by a manufacturer . . . gets to sell a carbon credit worth $ 2,000 . . . Then excessive polluters buy that credit and get add 400 tons of CO2 to the atmosphere without spending a dime cleaning up the real pollution . . .

We need to realise continuously that it doesn’t matter how much CO2 is released to atmosphere. So stop fussing about it.
Let’s all remember that the CO2 emission/pollution story is totally fake.
It is terrifying that this has not been obvious to the majority since the beginning.
