I have refused to deal with PayPal for several years for a variety of reasons, their treatment of the FSU (among others) being just one more.

Good for you. PayPal still effectively puts a block on anything I try to do because it won’t handle sterling payments from non-UK addresses. It claims it is my bank that refuses to comply but since I have no trouble paying Amazon and three suppliers of modelling material (though in one case we have worked out or own personal workaround to avoid PayPal) amongst others it’s evident where the problem lies!

On the Tip Jar i cant seem to put a number in the donation amount, It just stays at zero! I’m probably doing something stupid I’m sure, but..!

Like others, I have reservations about PayPal. But sometimes you just have to hold your nose to avoid the smell. Donated happily. Long live climate sanity.
Hi Paul, Tried to leave a tip, and I really appreciate your efforts, but left Paypal over the Toby Young cancellation, and not going back. If you set up a card payment that works without Paypal, I will try again.

Look forward to reading your posts. So good to read some factual data that reflects the real world. Be good if the general public and media were made to read these articles. Might wake some of them up, though difficult to break a belief!
Unable to leave a donation, with Paypal ? complications with previous passwords etc Could I just send direct with credit card to your account ?
Paul… I have read your blog daily for years. I really want to tip, but I REALLY don’t want a PayPal account after they messed me up. As another poster has said, if there’s a way to donate without PayPal, I’m in.
