What an absolute load of clap trap.
THAT good?
With the de facto mantra attributed to Greenpeace ” It does not matter what is true , it only matters what people believe is true ” who would be surprised Greenpeace lies and exaggerates ?
Did Greenpeace bovver boy Gene Hashmi and his apologists make any exceptions for climate skeptic women and gay men such as Bjorn Lomborg when he threatened : ” We know who you are . We know where you live . We know where you work . And we be many but you be few ” ? Nope . Green eco – fascism will stalk them all
Despite Greenpeace’s woke intersectionality appeal snowjob, climate change is not an imminent ‘threat to the welfare of women and ‘ vulnerable gender identities “. Where is the evidence for this in an age when climate related deaths have plunged 95 -98 % since 1920 ? Years ago Chelsea Clinton and other Democrats tried to link child marriage and prostitution to climate change .Its sheer nonsense . There are many disturbing stories of gay bashings and lesbian women raped by violent men in South African to ‘convert ‘ them – gender based violence that has more to do with machismo and misogyny than climate change and ‘big oil ” .
I wonder if Oliver has looked at Greenpeace’s shameful impact on femicide and infant mortality in the Republic of South Africa . Despite , the denials , Greenpeace was a leading agitator in the banning of DDT which has made the environmentalist NGO indirectly complicit in the morbidity and deaths of millions of women and children. Greenpeace refusenik Patrick Moore and the South African civil rights campaigner Archbishop Desmond Tutu were prominent outspoken advocates in the partially successful campaign to reintroduce the relatively safe anti – malarial pesticide DDT while Greenpeace stubbornly and callously resisted the Stockholm Conventions exemptions .When DDT controlled spraying programs were reintroduced to the province of KwaZulu -Natal after malaria infections and mortality had soared to epidemic proportions in the RSA following the 1996 international bans , malaria cases plummeted by 77% . Prior to the DDT bans , South Africa malaria cases nationwide remained under 10 000 per year and rarely exceeded 30 fatalities annually . As far as I’m aware human genitalia and self identification on the alphabet gender spectrum are determinants of vulnerability to malaria infection anymore than climate change .
Greenpeace has played its part though
typo : ” human genitalia and self identification on the alphabet gender spectrum are not determinants of vulnerability to malaria infectiousness [ remember malaria was rife in Russia Scandinavia and England during the Little Ice Age ] anymore than climate change … Greenpeace has played its part though
There may be a compelling argument that women and children are disproportionately affected by indoor combustion of biofuels and higher incidences of cardio-vascular disease in poorer third world communities because they do not have access to cheap electricity provided by coal gas and ‘big oil ” Im sure Greenpeace has as much compassion for them as they do malaria victims
All thanks to you ‘M ‘
Makes sense: a non-existent ‘climate crisis’ is a serious threat to a non existent subsection of human beings. Fantasists gonna fantasise.
WTF is a ‘womxn’?
It’s what some mxn choose to pretend they are. 😉
Me too John! I initially thought “You plank Paul, don’t you have a spell checker?” Then I saw the Greenpeace tweet and thought Paul was taking the mickey out of the tweet misspelling. Then I showed it to the wife and she said “Don’t you know? That’s the way feminists spell it now so there is no “man” in it – You should pay attention to J K Rowling, she goes ballistic about this sort of twaddle”.
Learn something new every day but I really could have done without learning this.
It is whether or not they have a penis that really confuses me. It used to be really simple back in the old days.
It’s probably that they like to display the extra X chromosome that women have.
Climate change can’t be a threat to “womxn” because no such group of people exist.
Oliver’s an imaginative fellow , aren’t they !
😂😂😂
Is Oliver on ‘meth’ ??
I think the word you need is dxlusional.
It’s a joke right?
Sadly, in what passes for Oliver’s mind, it’s not. Don’t they have ‘care in the communty’ in South Africa?
‘Womxn’.
Give me fxcking strength.
Just when you thought it/them couldn’t get any more demented…
As I’ve said before, all men need to identify as womxn, then there can be no such thing as gender based violence. Oliver can find some new delusion to worry about.
Is it not a threat to mxn as well then?
I like the replies on Twatter.
Campaigns to get you to give your money away used to be higher quality. Empathy has limits. They want me to care about sexually dysfunctional South Africans?
Is Greenpeace shifting their focus to the esoteric? Is faux concern about the environment yielding diminishing returns? Or has the campaign won, and they are casting about to find something else to act like they care about?
