Phoebe Plummer, The Spoilt Brat

April 2, 2023

By Paul Homewood

You will all doubtlessly remember young Phoebe Plummer!

The Mail had the low down on her last year, after she was accused of throwing soup of a Van Gogh:

Now why am I not surprised by any of this?

That’s exactly what I was thinking but you have expressed it more succinctly. Bearing in mind the Govt positions Rees Mogg has held I didn’mt think he was very clued up himself and failed to rebut all her arguments. Mind you not easy to do when someone is shouting at you!

“…failed to rebut all her arguments”

What would have been the point when she was proud of the fact she hadn’t a clue what she was blathering about and didn’t actually have any arguments, you can’t rebut emotional rants?

He is wise enough to realise that would have been an utter waste of oxygen, like trying to convert a Jehovah’s Witness to Satanism.

Well that education was a total waste of money. She says she is not a scientist, yet is studying computer science, that implies a knowledge of maths and statistics, Methinks the woman is charlatan.(but in reverse pretends she has no scientific knowledge to deflect awkward questions). A determined climate change denier could destroy her arguments, if only they could get a word in.

Spoilt brat she may be, but it shouldn’t come as any surprise that she thinks the way she does. For the entirety of her life, the IPCC, NASA, WEF, Al Gore et al have been filling her head with these pernicious lies. If you really believe the world is going to end, why would you do anything other than protest? Our young people are being demoralised by this Marxist propaganda and it’s got to stop.

Quite right Megagriff. Some of the stuff I was told at school in the 50s and 60s would be laughed at now but the teachers believed it as facts and passed it on to us. Nothing changes in that direction but the crap that is being pumped in to the kids now days more sinister and is designed to put fear in to their little brains, and it’s working. Child abuse in plain sight.

It is almost a competition, who can out nutty everybody else !
When will this cult wise up or else sent packing ?
“Extinction Rebellion: charges against five protesters dismissed | Extinction Rebellion | The Guardian” https://amp.theguardian.com/environment/2020/jan/28/extinction-rebellion-charges-against-five-protesters-dismissed
King had written a witness statement that could have been admitted as evidence in the case. In it, he said: “It is hard to see how the global temperature rise is to be limited, on average, to 1.5C in the very narrow timeframe still available unless it becomes a matter of real urgency within the spheres of national and global politics.”

Yes her point of view is nuts alright, but look at the even greater nutters who encourage her :-
      Sir David King.
As Director of the Government’s Foresight Programme, he created an in-depth horizon scanning process that advised government on a wide range of long-term issues, from flooding to obesity. He also chaired the Government’s Global Science and Innovation Forum from its inception. He advised government on issues including the foot-and-mouth disease epidemic of 2001; post 9/11 risks to the UK; GM foods; energy provision; and innovation and wealth creation. He was also heavily involved in the Government’s Science and Innovation Strategy 2004-2014.

“WHAT WE DO OVER THE NEXT THREE TO FOUR YEARS, I BELIEVE, IS GOING TO DETERMINE THE FUTURE OF HUMANITY.”

We shouldn’t be attacking the kids. They’re not the problem. They’re only parroting what they’ve been told by the likes of Sir David King. There will surely come a time when Phoebe and millions of kids like her realise that they’re not going to be burnt to a crisp and that they’ve been lied to by just about everybody they’ve ever met. I hope I live long enough to see how they react.

        https://www.theguardian.com/science/2021/jun/20/head-of-independent-sage-to-launch-international-climate-change-group

“Several of the world’s leading scientists plan to launch an independent expert group this week to advise, warn and criticise global policymakers about the climate and nature crises.

The new body has been inspired by Independent Sage – the cluster of British scientists who have held UK ministers and civil servants to account for their lack of transparency and mishandling of the Covid pandemic.

The Climate Crisis Advisory Group, comprising 14 experts from 10 nations and every continent, aims to have more of an international reach and provide the global public with regular analysis about efforts to tackle the global heating and biodiversity crises.

Headed by the former UK chief scientific adviser Sir David King, the new group will issue monthly updates about the state of the global environment at meetings that will be open to the media and the public. These online gatherings will be chaired by the BBC presenter Ade Adepitan.”

Another eco-loon, one Shaun Irish, on GB News this morning. Neither Camilla Tominey (“what you are doing is dangerous”) nor her former copper guest (“I agree with your aims but you are going the wrong way about it it”) even mildly challenged the usual claims they make. “Millions are dying from climate change”. No, not a single person has died from climate change. “Climate related disasters are killing millions”. No they are not. The data clearly shows fatalaties from natural events have dropped exponentially. “Millions are starving due to climate change”. No they are not. The data shows grain production is higher than its ever been. “Sea levels are destroying the land”. No they are not – sea levels are moving by a few of millimeters per decade. “The ice caps are melting and polar bears are becoming extinct”. No they are not and polar bear populations are having to be controlled by dispersal. Until this nonsense is publicly denounced t deterioration in our living stanrds will continue.

They, the communists, have no theoretical or more importantly, empirical evidence, to back-up their models and in fact their predictions, such the one made in 2009 (BBC) that summer Artic ice would disappear by 2013, has turned out to be entirely false. As a result they’re now feeling they’re running out of time to keep the western, democratic world convinced of catastrophic climate change and have upped the shouting and the UN has called for the 2050 date to be brought forward to 2040. Because China, India and many other countries will continue with fossil fuels, 8bn tons of coal will be burned each year, CO2 levels will continue to rise and eventually even children such as Phoebe Plummer who have been scared by this communist ideology will realise they are still alive and it was a hoax all along.

JB: Can you be more specific about who these “communists” are. I do not detect a connection unless, as I queried a few days ago, the CCP are behind even the usual suspects. As events at Newquay demonstrated last week the organisation behind all this is able, at the drop of a hat, to mobilise and bus in a small army of fully uniformed and masked violent so-called anti-fascist protestors. There is a lot of money behind all this. Schwab and his followers or much deeper and more sinister?

Cui bono from the UN/WEF’s CAGW/NZ destruction of the energy systems of Western democracies?

“Climate action” is only number 13 in the UN’s list of “Sustainable Development Goals” and no climate activists, including the UN, have any issues with China, India and many others burning 8 billion tons+ of coal each year.

The work of professors Wijngaarden & Happer, have shown using real data that increasing current levels of CO2 (and methane) have a negligible warming effect on the climate because of IR saturation. Their 2019 paper, “Infrared Forcing by Greenhouse Gases” has never been refuted by the IPCC, just ignored.

Are riders expected to hold a licence ? Then there is the question of lights, registration plates and insurance.
Scooters can accelerate so very quickly and can be difficult to predict where they intend to go.

I agree – as I said in my original comment. She and her friends need to know that there are consequences to breaking the law and be made an example of to deter others. After further review, I elevate Phoebe to HERO. Her message is stupid, but you all know it. You all know her name.

She recognized weakness in British justice, and exploited it. Publicly vandalizing a painting worth over 8 figures. This after being imprisoned for blocking M25, AND her group declaring they were going to continue disruption.

In my county, she would have been denied bail, as demonstrably a continued risk. Yet here she is on youtube with JR-M! Plummer is NOT YOUR PROBLEM. YOUR GOVERNMENT IS.

Her message is stupid, but she is clever. I appreciate a clever rebel.

One hopes that her actions – rather, the lack of consequences for her actions –
mark the beginning of the people’s understanding of how bad their government is, and not the end of British civilization.

At this point, I’m still betting on anarchy.

      • April 3, 2023 4:53 pm

The Government is A problem, but not THE problem. They are being duped every bit as much as Phoebe is. THE problem is the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) which President Eisenhower warned against in his farewell speech in 1961. [If you haven’t seen that speech, I strongly recommend that you watch it. It’s on YouTube.] These days, the MIC manifests itself through organisations such as the UN and IPCC, the WEF, NASA / NOAA. As ever it’s all about power and money. They don’t want us to have much of either.
