Wrong question, surely.
Why are we being hectored and bullied into reducing greenhouse gas emissions at vast cost and inconvenience – reversing years of progress in health, safety and comfort for humanity (clues: transferring wealth from the poor to the rich and enabling a dystopian agenda) – on a false premise and to utterly insignificant effect on the climate whatsoever?
Fixed it.

Absolutely what I was thinking. Before Econazis, other altruists sought to reduce birth control, beer & wine, plant leaves, Jews–always by initiation of deadly force. In return the whole neighborhood got liquidity crises, market crashes, unemployment, prison riots, poverty, failure and war.
I hate Off Threads but can’t resist remarking a Spectator advert where SSE ‘We Power Change’ has a person in a hard hat pledging £7M a day of windmill building for 6 million British homes. Quick look at gridwatch.templar reveals wind is producing an astounding 1.6% of our electricity. My home and another?

People talking about ‘Global Energy Security’ are conspiring to take it away from us. Global means you lose control, and ‘security’ means they take control . . . with no duty whatsoever to provide energy. They are literally plotting to kill billions of people.
McKitrick is entering the lions den.
