Usual alarmist psyop.
The did the colours trick in Germany too.
Shell greenwashing adverts banned

Quite right too. Their own data makes it obvious they don’t supply 100% renewable energy. Sadly, the rumour that is up for sale is true with OVO or Octopus in line to make an offer. So bang goes my 3% fuel discount and might have to switch supplier. Shame as Shell have been much better that EDF.
When I complained to the Advertising Standards about the Shell adverts they said that they would include it a review of all adverts of this type by energy companies.
The Shell one really wound me up.
The same is done with the Antarctic ozone ‘hole’. The dark purple in September that depicts ozone depletion shifts to total green in December. That’s the normal total column ozone of 300 Dobson units. In other words, no net loss of ozone. The two are rarely shown together.
The change in cloud cover was one I was not aware of. The models often use clouds as positive feedbacks but this is dependent on cloud altitude. Many climate and weather scientists / observers suggest a negative feedback is more realistic. Fewer clouds mean more short wave radiation and this can penetrate 30m into the oceans.
The fewer clouds may also throw a monkey wrench at Hans Svensmark theory that low solar activity increases cosmic rays and increases cloud formation.
