According to George, the Arctic is burning up at 118F and we’re all going to die!

Meanwhile back in the real world, temperatures above 80N have barely got above freezing yet this summer:

Arctic sea ice is at its highest level for the time of year for several years, and is close to the 1981-2010 median:

And Greenland’s summer melt has not even begun yet:

I would recommend to George that he wraps up warm if he plans on doing some sunbathing there!

He would be at home during the witch persecutions, when they also just made up evidence to suit their insane desires.

This one is different because the rich can buy indulgences whereas witchcraft was unpardonable. The Salem witch trials ended when the aristocrats and others in power started getting caught up in the accusations. It is the ultimate scam and much harder to defeat.

This fixation on impending doom is tiresome. There is another way of understanding carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and why we should be grateful for it.

That reference to 118 F is a year old! Also, it was noticed only by a satellite and was certainly a simple ground – temperature spike caused by a forest fire. The official WMO record high for an air – temperature measurement within the Arctic Circle is 38 C. That, of course, is a piece of yawn-yawn data, so it is usually changed to 100.4 F – as if being above 100 means anything to anybody, except to a total numberskull.

The Arctic may be about to enter a cooling phase. When it will be, “Move along now! Nothing to see here!” time.

Sorry for that link. It is an alternative site to Dropbox. Why it gets flagged as dangerous – I have no idea.

George is correct: you are all going to die.

Though congestive heart failure at age 82 is the more likely scenario.

There’s nearly always somewhere on the North Russia coast having a heatwave well over 100F in summer, it’s vast, this is normal and pointing it out is just playing on ignorance! The heat currently occupies a relatively small area. There is also a significant cold wave in central Russia.

      doh, 90F not 100.

Just realised, not even current, this 118F happened in June 2021 and spawned loads of climate alarmism stories it was a supposed localised ground temperature record.

      “…this 118 F…”

There may even have been the following confusion. When the record of 100.4 F was recorded in 2020 for a place in Siberia, it was also stated that this was
18 F ‘above the normal’ for there.

      100 + 18 = 118

dave, should that not be 118 minus 18 = 100°F as the normal max for edge of the Arctic Circle in Siberia in summer ?

No I mean that somebody added two numbers together which should not have been added together. Only a guess on my part.
The alternative is as I said elsewhere that the satellite was noticing a hot spot which was nothing but the aftermath of a fire.

About a week after 100.4F was recorded in the Arctic circle the same place, I think it was Chelyabinsk, received about 1cm of snow. Just another change in the weather that happens all the time, but strangely enough the snow was never reported in the MSM. Electroverse reported it, but their site keeps being hacked and has to change web host so the old posts are very hard to find.

Very good info but who is reading this in UK govt. circles? Why is it not compulsory for all politicians to enter in their records all publications, books and other info sources they have read to be made public? Otherwise we have no idea what they should know or don’t know.

‘George’ appears to have picked up on a specific temperature on one day in mainland Europe that is within the Arctic Circle (not necessarily the North Pole nor anywhere nearby) and is becoming agitated about that. It is well known (especially to North Americans and North Europeans) that in summer a big land mass experiences some very hot days. Similarly in winter they may experience some very cold days.

The site is the problem. I have deactivated the link. I will move the file to Dropbox and post a new link then. I apologise to you but I used the site in good faith.

Dr Patrick Moore, formerly founder of Greenpeace, gives an excellent interview debunking the global warming/climate change scam here:
