More Taxpayer Money Going To The Green Blob

The Green Blob is a veritable industry, raking in literally billions every year around the world.

In the past I have discovered that many are funded by the UK Government. CASA it appears it not just another example, but they actually get all of their funding from the UK Government:

Is this really the best use of taxpayers’ money?

Borrowed millions for the insanity industry and road to ruin. How China must be laughing.

The English of this government funded entity must have hit a new low. I wonder what George Orwell would have made of it.

The UK government and the City ,it has to be said, is the heart of many of the issues that plague the world. Its about the need for some to be ‘relevant’ in the international arena. ‘We’ have to be world leaders in something, even if its BS. Its a hang over from the loss of empire etc, but also ongoing dealings with US elites.
The more extreme the views and acceptance of them the more you prove your credentials to be in the club. The ‘club’ being the elite and their acolytes.
Unfortunately the UK is a poor country led by a relatively few very rich and powerful club. And they owe allegiances to their peers ( mainly in anglosphere , US). Never to the plebs.

The City? And how are we a poor country? Virtually all housed in good homes, most households with a car, central heating, a dishwasher, washing machine colour TV, laptop, broadband, mobiles. Most take at least one holiday, we have OK education and decent emergency health care, lots of roads, busy and numerous airports, world-leading universities, a world financial centre, excellent museums and art galleries and a thriving culture. We are not poor in any way at all.

But the green blob and the “climate” fanatics want to destroy all that (except for themselves)

        >>We are not poor

GB is ‘BUST’. Govt. Credit card maxed out we’re living on borrowed money, Trillions wasted on banking bailouts , idiot lockdowns, furloughs, ‘so-called vaccine’ purchases, PPE, massive interest payments on the lot, etc etc then the continuing hand outs to the ‘Green Crap’ what an absolute disaster for our country’s future. (+ immigration.)
If there was ever a time for a modern Oliver Cromwell it is now.

When I was a child in the 1960s, the UK seemed to be trying to be ‘world leaders’ in all sorts of technological stuff – supersonic airliners, vertical take-off jets, nuclear power, hovercraft, magnetic levitation trains, etc. In the Thatcher years of the 1980s the UK seemed to be trying to be world leaders in offshore oil and gas and also in nuclear waste reprocessing (I’m thinking of all those government adverts about Sellafield ‘where science never sleeps’).

The switch to trying to be world leaders in implementing ‘progressive’ ideas that appeal to Metropolitan liberals, which continues to the present day, seemed to start with the Major government. It was John Major who started up the idea of the UK being a world leader in tackling climate change (and at the same time decided to reject the Thatcher solution of using nuclear power in tackling climate change):

      https://www.desmog.com/2019/01/14/confidential-archive-documents-uk-government-efforts-image-climate-leader-john-major/

Maybe we should go back to trying to be world leaders in technological stuff that Western liberals don’t approve of again. India recently impressed the world by landing a space probe on the Moon.

The only activity I can think of where the UK is genuinely regarded as being some sort of world leader is in football – England has the world’s top football sports league. It’s the only thing that the UK does which impresses China. But there isn’t any government involvement in that, and the only type of football Metropolitan liberals would want to be world leaders in is women’s football.

I used to involved in green orgs. Usually at festivals
Sometimes I was paid bits of money
It quicly became to me that these green were not in the real world, and in particular with Global Warming : PR, policies and green tech
So i changed side and started devoting a lot of my time to fact checking that GreenBlob side
of course there is no money in that. Then I joined in fact checking BBC bias and other media , again unpaid
There is no obvious big pool of money for us on these topics, unlike the vast pools on the blob side.
I suppose I could have applied to work for the very limited pool of jobs like at GWPF or Taxpayers Alliance that would seem to mean working in London
    which is a bit crap
and the Climate in Britain is too cold.
Oh someone once bought me a drink n an Oxford pub

BTW page 5 of last Saturday’s Daily Mail seems to be a copy of my work from May 2022
Not that I expect money from it. I do put all my stuff in the public domain and we had retweeted my work 10 days prior to the Mail article

But, but, but…what about all that money you receive from ‘Big Oil’?

      • August 29, 2023 11:04 pm

And how have Green Policies affected Big Oil
#1 restricted their small competitors from fracking
#2 Restricted global oil supply so pushed up prices and therefore profits
#3 limited UK gas/oil storage thus pushing up prices
whilst at same time created a UK electricity market which has unpredictable demand for gas

The idea that Big Oil opposes the GreenBlob is a wacky conspiracy theory

Very strange that climate skeptics receive almost zero funding from anywhere, not even “Big Oil”. Compare that with the money tree that the alarmists and other ecoterrorists have found.

Is it that the ecofascists just are not able to believe that honest people give their time for free to expose their lies while they receive $millions. All those US ‘charity’ foundations that pour money into their groups as well as all the billionaires like Gates, Grantham, etc. Not to mention taxpayers cash, and let’s not forget the funding from Russia.

So taxpayers fund a totally anonymous group whose aim is to enable other countries to negotiate for more money from UK taxpayers.

    Seriously?

On whose side is our government exactly?

If anyone had the time, stamina and resources, tracking the funding of the hundreds, if not thousands (if not tens of thousands) of organisations within the green blob would be a well worthwhile exercise. I occasionally contemplate it myself, but the size of the task is just too daunting.

As stewgreen points out, unlike them we don’t get paid.

Whatever happened to ‘no taxation without representation’? As far as I’m concerned, paying money to Green orgs is spending my tax money: I want a say in that!

Some years ago when DECC as was was under Miliband Minor -iirc – a whole load of eco-loon NGOs (GP, FotE,WWF and others) were invited to provide advisor individuals on secondment to DECC.

Yes – Dracula’s acolytes were asked to work at the bloodbank.

DECC swerved every FoI about how many and where from (I placed 2).

Those effing parasites are still there

The Taxpayers Alliance has been looking at all these NGOs that interfere with our lives such as the IMF, World Bank etc that now all seem to dance to the tune of the World Empire of Fascism.

The government fund bodies to push the green energy agenda so that they can justify squandering trillions over the years as in the “public interest”. Classic “Yes Prime Minister”.

What it shows is that the establishment is completely behind this borrox and is using OUR money to support this dead horse while enriching themselves and their mates. NONE of it stands up to scrutiny. Take away tax payer money and the slimy green blob will sink without a trace. It is an artificial problem perpetuated by people supported by artificial means.

The fact Sunak will not countenance referendum on Net Zero speaks volumes. I would hazard a guess that the no vote would be 75% .
Everywhere you look this crap is being imposed without even a fleeting recourse to any democratic process. That will change given the rubbish they are feeding children because then they can hold scam votes where the brain dead footsoldiers will comply .

Not only is the climate scam the fraud of history but the way public money is being paid out to keep these cretinous bodies awash with cash is the scandal of history.
