Shock News!!! – It Rained Last Month, Say Met Office
November 2, 2023
By Paul Homewood
Is that really the best the Met Office can come up with, after all of their alarmist hype last month?
https://blog.metoffice.gov.uk/2023/11/01/wettest-october-on-record-for-eastern-scotland/
And, of course, it’s all due to climate change!
Even the claim of the wettest October in Eastern Scotland does not tell the whole story, as it is not the wettest month. Rainfall in September 1995 was 15mm there than last month.

Can we assume it was the warmest rain on record ?
It’s going to get very wet then, when the clowns start burning all that green, clean hydrogen which ‘only’ produces water vapour.
And NOx…
Strange how the hydrogen proponents always forget the NOx…
Once more ‘40% more than AVERAGE’. Obviously unaware of how averages work!!
Remind what an average is again?
Although, I always use the word “average” and never “normal” when discussing things meteorological. See it’s not normal!!!!
Hunga Tonga anyone ?
Meanwhile in North Lancashire, we had 104mm rain in October. That was by the rain gauge in my garden, so probably not the most accurate but you get the idea. Just another average October!
Does anyone remember Paul’s post in February about the BBC citing “experts” or “scientists say” and claiming that we were in for a drought? The climate alarmists of course claim that weather of all kinds are getting more and more extreme. Apart from the claim being false, it does make you wonder if there is anything that a tiny bit more CO2 can’t do.
All that water in the atmosphere from the volcano is coming back to Earth.
Met Office press release May 31st, 2033:
“34 Boggle Street, Little Moreden recorded its wettest May 30th since records began in 1978. Climate change again blamed.”
Here is how to predict the weather for any month. Think of the worst weather you’ve ever known, think of the best. It will very likely be somewhere between the two. But, if you are 50, there is about a 1% chance it will be better and a 1% chance it will be worse.
