Zero Carbon Buildings Minister Patrick Harvie confirmed the change as the government published a consultation for a new heating bill.

There are times when I feel I have time warped to 1930s Germany. What is going on with all this dictating what we can and cannot do?
I am no conspiracy theorist but it is becoming ever increasingly difficult not to believe there is not some controlling force above all these politicians. Nobody voted for politicians to interfere and control minute details of their life so what motivates them to think they can? Really does bend my brain in half.
It seems to be a mania. Large numbers of people are convinced by the flimsiest of claims to make vast changes to our economies and societies. They can clear their car windscreens of ice this morning and still believe the world is boiling. It is I suppose exactly what happens with religions. The change in England from Catholicism to Protestantism and the conviction of the newly minted Protestants that they were right perhaps.
