Unfortunately King Charles has made himself and the whole of the Royal family look like fools. There are no so called “tipping points”. Even the worst case scenarios do NOT confirm this will be the case. He should stick to plant whispering and steer clear of making political statements on behalf of UK citizens who are not as gullible.
King Charles has now dealt his family a terrible blow, which, I fear we will now witness being slowly played out here in the UK. He has absolutely no right to suggest the promise of billions of pounds of UK tax payers funds to pay out to regions of the world where droughts and floods are common place, it is totally preposterous and NOT his mandate to do so. He hasn’t a chance in hell of changing the different climates in other regions of the world by spending our hard earned money. I suggest he risk playing God with his own family’s vast wealth funds first and see if he can measure the slightest modicum of difference to anything before promising ours. Furthermore, UK citizens should be incensed that he feels he should apologise on our behalf for being lucky enough to live in a benign climate. By spending our money and apologising in our names without our consent he has just hastened the demise of the Royal family IMHO.
Well said indeed!
Quite how he thinks how we spend taxpayer’s money isn’t “political” is beyond me. It’s is absolute basic political issue.
Once again, the privileged seek to impose their unproven agenda.
here we are amidst another world war and all these fools can do is spend their time banging on about the weather.
Here’s some of Charlie’s disciples from the we(s)t country:-
Protesters sit in silence in the rain outside Bristol Crown Court
Recent cases have seen defendants being banned from using words like ‘climate change’ in court

Some good comments on YouTube, but not many views yet! We need to spread the word.
There are too many influential people commenting on climate change who do not have the necessary technical expertise to identify the true cause and whether it is possible to change it. Or they have vested interests and only wish to be alarmist to further their own cause. In either case many innocent people are being unnecessarily impoverished.
Embarrassing to be a fellow alumnus, at least I was awarded an Engineering MA so have some idea WTF is going on. Charming chap and he and Camilla were delightful when they opened a gallery I worked on some years ago, staying much longer than planned and really seeming to appreciate our efforts and the reborn gallery.
NOT my king!
Who would you prefer, Emperor Blair or Emperor Xi perhaps? The monarch has no real influence on anything and only exists to personify the state to which we all cling ‘faute de mieux’.
But he does, that’s why Sunak, our puppet PM, was forced to let him go. People listen to Authority.
Sunak, ministers, civil servants, academics, courts all support the same nonsense. HMG supports sock puppet activist groups to push for policies that it wants to introduce. We are in for a very bad future, CIII or not.
What a reveal, the King says the earth doesn’t belong to the people, does he forget he is supposed to be defender of the faith. The Pope is more interested in the environment than people and ignores the starving masses.
Can we conclude that Charles wants to reincarnate as a virus and Pope does not actually represent any branch Christian religion.
” Can we conclude that Charles wants to reincarnate as a virus ” = a new Python sketch.
Saying the Earth does not belong to the people is parroting something said by his minders in his early years….people like van der Post and Porritt – who were likely quoting the Indian (native American) called Chief Seattle. Well, if the people belong to the Earth it’s making a pretty poor job of looking after them – or maybe that’s the point: we’re being punished. Sheesh!
BTW, I heard the head of COP on the news saying that he us looking forward to the delegates voting for the end of FF. There’s a psychological term, is there not, for the sight of a Shiehk looking forward to the end of oil?
” Can we conclude that Charles wants to reincarnate as a virus ”
No … that was his dad Prince Fishlip.
Charles the Turd wants to come back as … a tampon !!!
search – ‘Tampongate’.
& the plebs are supposed to show/have respect for such weirdos.
1saveenrgy reminded me of that wonderful tampongate “period” (oo arh missus!) so I just could not let it pass on account of KC3 has taken me over a “tipping point” and becoming a republican.
Here is an abridged version of the text
https://www.esquire.com/uk/culture/a34736481/tampongate-scandal-the-crown/
I listened to part of the speech on radio in the car before I turned it off as I was about to vomit.
HM the King is either being advised by idiots, or he is ignoring good advice. So many errors , falsehoods and cherry-picked pieces of misinformation in one speech!
Like so many who use advisers, he only employs those who tell him what he wants to hear.
Shouldn’t this clown have a red ball on his nose?
HM needs to be careful. The biggest argument for monarchy is that the king or queen isn’t a politician. When I see the mess republics make of choosing their leaders I used to be a firm monarchist, but the way things are going I’m beginning to have my doubts.
Boat long sailed. I tolerated the whole regal circus as Madge was bang on brief. Chas the Stupid and brood have presided in short order over that going out the window. He is an utter tool of the activist community. Unmercifully used in the role by cynical pols and even more activist media.
Yes, I said for years I would almost certainly become a Republican when the queen died. Charles is an arrogant, no-nothing who thinks he has some right to tell us how we should live.
This is the second time Charles III has made a highly political speech. If he cannot bring himself to abide by the Constitution, then I would prefer a Republic, thank you kindly.
No point in him abdicating, his son would be no better.
The trouble is, if he made a speech advocating for say much lower taxes, most politicians would be up in arms, even proper Torues. But make s speech saying taxpayers money should be given to developing countries and nobody bats an eye-lid. Yet both are equally political.
Well, his mother successfully kept him away from the throne for as long as she physically could, and now we know why !!!
What, again The King who’s wearing no clothes but seems not to know it? Or is it Andy in disguise?
Daily Telegraph today has a NIB, in answer to which I sent this message, though I doubt they will print it
“Fascinating news in brief snippet today saying how our climate scientists have found that six of the warmest years worldwide have occurred in the years between 2015 and 2020. It made me wonder if the 1.1 degree increase in temperature since before records began, which accompanied this statistic, might be six fifths the actual size as well?”
Never attribute to bad maths that which can be explained by bad English . . . from professional writers.
Fair comment. However, bad English results in poor communication, and science requires perfect communication. We still don’t know properly what has happened, and I still rest my case regarding the fact that nobody knows what the World wide temperatures were before they were recorded. Yet Scientists keep making comments as if they do
It is no sin for journalists to be bad at math.
It is a sin for journalists to be bad at communication. Any reasonably intelligent person reading their statement would balk at the ambiguity. The Telegraph’s failure to notice it is just gross.
