In short then output has risen by 40% in the last three years.
Coal India is a State owned company, and accounts for three quarters of India’s total coal production.

I wonder if we will see the useful idiots of just stop oil or xr (lower case intended), protesting outside of the Indian Embassy anytime soon?
Of course we will not, because the people funding them want their focus on the real task which is destroying our economy and the useful middle and upperclass idiot members of those two organizations, post their marxist indoctrination in what used to be called our universities, are only too willing to help. I wonder when virtue signalling will become an accepted skill to add to a wokey CV?
Definitely the way to NetZero, the Indian way, you know it makes (NON)SENSE?
India has an abundance of coal reserves, they know how to use it and its low cost for power generation and industry develops both the economy and the population.
Dont see much wrong with that.
Plus, they are adding much needed plant food to the atmosphere.
As long as the production is done cleanly it is a massive plus for any country.
A bit off topic but why should the UK ruin its economy, just to virtue signal our green credentials when India, China etc are investing in their fossil fueled future.
However,
We have seen recently the transgender ideas of self declaring your sexuality, loose some of their “charm”.
Genital mutilation of children is now being seen for what it is, cruel and life wrecking.
It gives me some hope that the ecoloons and Milibands promoting all these climate change Net Zero lies are going to get their comeuppance in the near future. All it takes is one big blackout, and a week or two with little or no electricity.
Assuming Labour does form the next government then one of the comments made by an ex-Labour advisor – and one of the more tolerable lefty tossers GB News is forced to field by Ofcom – will hit home. Unlike all previous times, Labour will inherit a fundamentally bankrupt economy as opposed to one in good health – even the odious Major left a good economy – and this time the note saying there is no money will be left by a Tory. As he pointed out, all the hands stretched out for taxpayers cash are going to be left disappointed as the money tree is bare. All those who claim the solution to everything once Labour is in power is more cash will not be pleased and even Lord Sleaze of Mandelson has noted this could mean a one term Labour government based on a failure to deliver. It would be nice to think that by 2029 there might be a conservative option.
No chance. Only a Tory.
Is that not the Land of the man (?) who helped promote the scam in its Infancy ?
This one?

Don’t be triggering me! THose kind of ppl. …. all in the ( THAT) same Club? Get out of my ( OUR ) Lives. Just wish Jo Public would vote accordingly and NOT along Party lines… ( ha ha like the snp turning green ) (and where are they now? )
Looks like Coal India is a good investment as the share price has been rising steadily over the last year or so and pays regular dividends.
Meanwhile we are giving Tata Steel half a billion to close down Port Talbot, whilst in India they are expanding output https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/companies/tata-steel-scaling-up-india-capacities/article67779846.ece
Are’nt we clever. (sarc)
India now produces really cool retro style motorbikes, the Royal Enfield twins are best sellers being far cheaper than the rival Triumphs, Kawasakis and Nortons. Triumph also make their new 400cc bikes there in partnership with the Bajaj scooter company. I’m sure that labour costs have a lot to do with these competitive prices but energy costs are surely a factor too.
I think it likely labour costs is not the key factor.
I don’t know the situation vis-à-vis England and India.
With US and China, labor cost is NOT the big factor. It’s US regulation. Fascist control of business. Business says, “Fine, we’ll just get China to make our stuff.”
They be not stupid
During my career, I did some work for an international Mining company in the Indian deep coal Mines in Raniatani and Khumberkani – we were there to retrofit some new hi-tech Variable Frequency Drives into new mining machines they had bought from European manufacturers as they began mechanising, after decades of hand mining – at the first Mine, the first thing I saw was two young lads (around 15 years old), stood in water up-to their waists, electric arc welding! There were also men & boys sleeping off shift down the Mines – The Indian Engineers were hard working and very keen to learn new technologies and electrical principles and were very hospitable – it was a hard place to work, but enjoyable
