Very remiss of the Observer not to elucidate CO2 levels. Obviously “fake news”

Just shows how much The Observer has gone down the toilet like its sister The Guardian. Love seeing the mention of temperature in Reaumur, those were the days.
This gem from The Observer deserves wider circulation especially to the Monbiot Rowlatt school of hysteria. Where does one start?
Absolutely —and I’ve posted a comment, with a link, under Suzanne Moore’s hysterical article in the Telegraph.
Sorry for my ignorance, but which “The Observer” publication is shown here.
It is now acknowledged by the climatists that there have been heatwaves and fires before but now they are coming thick and fast proving AGW
I remember many midnights + in Manhattan in the summers of the 1960s when it was more than 100 deg F . I thought how can this city be so popular. And in the winters at least in the early 1960s snow was 4 or 5 feet thick and thinner later. In Sussex in the 1940s snow was very heavy but now it is never seen so the climate there has certainly changed but no one is arguing it isn’t changing but why.
This is like the admirable Tony Heller over on realclimate website. Strong on press clippings from years ago in the USA which show clearly that past weather was MUCH WORSE!
It’s interesting that very often extremely hot years come in clusters. I’ve no idea why this should be so, but maybe Europe is in the midst of another run of numerous very hot summers.
