Apparently there is some fuss down in South Carolina about a report by their Department of Natural Resources on the local effects of climate change which was shelved for a while.

It seems they are worried about a warming trend of 0.0F/decade since 1920!

No, no, no! We HAVE to take the trend from 1969, not 1900! If we look objectively at the temperatures, all is lost!

Especially amusing is the following statement from the article

“The chart below shows how temperatures at the Greenville-Spartanburg airport have changed between 1895 and 2010.”

So when was the airplane – sorry, aeroplane – invented?

Chelsea Harvey seems not to understand how these “climate” reports are done. The group is paid to find problems to support the politician’s desire to tax and spend. If your report isn’t scary enough you have failed your task. A new committee has to be formed that will find a great need to respond aggressively to a non-existing problem.
Chelsea does write about climate issues on a regular basis – seen here:

She seems to be religiously indoctrinated in the church of catastrophic anthro-global warming (cAGW) and likely will remain so until her home is under a mountain of ice.
