Is George Soros Funding Extinction Rebellion?

An enterprising individual has got hold of a lot of documents from Extinction Rebellion’s computer database.
I must stress that these have not been hacked. As he/she explains:

There are all sorts of files on show, containing so much detailed information that they must be genuine. Many contain details on tactics etc.
The one below caught my eye, particularly the third aim, which rather gives the lie to XR’s defenders who say that they are not a bunch of anarchists.

But the real thing I wanted to focus on is the funding side.
There is one spreadsheet file, which keeps track of fundraising projects:

And on the Team 2 tab, listing major donors, we find an entry for George Soros. Intriguingly, the amount has been blanked out, the only donation where this has happened.
One wonders what they want to hide, if the amount is to be kept secret even from their own staff!
In fact, XR are remarkably open about their financing, as their own website links to their list of bank transactions (see “our payments to date”:

The first thing which stands out is just how much money they have raised, for such a Rag, Tag and Bobtail outfit. In just over a year, they have raised over a million, and still have half left in the bank.
About half of their income seems to come via Pay Pal and We Pay. This ostensibly is crowd funding, but could also give major donors confidentiality.
But some major donors do stand out:
Children’s Investment Fund Foundation – £121140
The CIFF like to give the impression that their purpose is to tackle ill health and malnutrition amongst the world’s poor. But they also give out millions each year for climate change projects.
It’s funders might be surprised that their money is going to an anarchist group, determined to send Britain back to the dark ages.
Joe Corre – £50000
Corre is the son of the potty eco warrior and dress designer, Vivienne Westwood and one time manager of the Sex Pistols, Malcolm McLaren.
He co-founded the lingerie outlet, Agent Provocateur, in 1994, before selling out to 3i.
According to The Richest website, he is worth $48 million.
With that sort of money, he can indulge his silly fantasies, safe in the knowledge he won’t suffer from their impact.
Interestingly, the funding spreadsheet we looked at earlier says “JC *Keep Anonymous”. I wonder what they are trying to hide?
Furka Holdings – £50000
Furka are a little known Swiss asset management company, owned by a guy called Alasdair Breach, who is also a Director of the Bank of Georgia.
According to the latter’s write up about Breach:
His previous career was in research in investment banks, principally in Russia. In January 2003, Mr Breach joined Brunswick UBS (later UBS Russia) as Chief Economist, and later was appointed Head of Research and Managing Director until October 2007. From 1998 to 2002, Mr Breach was a Russia and FSU (Former Soviet Union) economist at Goldman Sachs, based in Moscow.

It is not clear why Furka would want to give £50000 to an anti-capitalist mob. One is entitled to wonder whether they are just a front to channel money from third party sources, particularly given Breach’s close connections to Russia.
European Climate Foundation – £20000
The ECF was established in 2008, and principally funnels money from far-left American philanthropic foundations to European climate projects.
Greenpeace – £10000
Say no more!
Tides Foundation – £7454
The Tides Foundation is another of those far-left American charities, which funds a wide range of left wing causes, often in very controversial fashion.
George Soros?
We are left with the mystery of George Soros.
As the funding spreadsheet showed, an entry was made on Jan 25th to the effect that payment had been received from Soros.
Yet no such payment is recorded on the banking spreadsheet.
Was the money funnelled via a third party front? Or did it came via Pay Pal? Or maybe the receipt was deliberately left off the spreadsheet.
And why all of the secrecy? Is the amount so large?
Are XR worried about the PR implications of taking money from such a controversial source.
XR claim that their finances are “public and transparent”. If so, they now need to come clean about George Soros’ involvement.
Above all, the British public have a right to know why so much foreign money is being sent to XR, with the express purpose of disrupting our lives and economy in an attempt to influence public policy, not to mention overthrowing our democratic system of government.

My local council has declared a “Climate Emergency” and has been bragging about their consultations with ER and FOE, no mention of any talks with people-without-agendas, maybe because such people have been cowed into submission, and can’t be bothered with lobbying. The council has many ongoing funding problems, but has fully embraced this emergency nonsense.
Does anyone have experience with Freedom of Information requests, such as how much money has been spent on The Emergency, and how much benefit has accrued? I imagine that councils have legal departments that thrive on rebutting such requests. The legal angle may be more fruitful, are councils allowed to spend money on attempts to make minuscule changes to the composition of the global atmosphere?
FOI is an easy route, and will usually work.
The KEY thing is to know what you want and not be nebulous or ‘woolly’. The second thing is to persist, I’ve seldom got what I wanted first time, whether this is a result of deliberate obfuscation or simply that local authorities administrators tend to be to recruited from a limited gene pool. I shouldn’t have said that last bit I suppose, perhaps living in the Highland council domain leads to a particular view.
No, there are not legal departments that deal with FOIs. The questions are sent to those most suited to provide an answer. One thing to bear in mind is that you are requesting information that is held but is not in the public domain. If the information is not held then it can’t be supplied and they don’t have to work it out or gather it. Good example – a request for coordinates for parking places by somebody doing an app for parking. This request went to the information commissioner as the requester would not believe such information was not held. It wasn’t so they lost. That is not to say that we did not know where the parking places were just that they were not plotted by coordinates.

I strongly urge you to make this as public as possible. We know Government Ministers and BBC have met with these people. The general public needs to know their real aims and their funding sources especially Soros.

One of the most scary aspects is the setting up of People’s Assemblies – who is going to sit on these and where will they come from? The councils that signed up to the climate emergency cannot realise what is coming next. Many local people have waited years for these improvements and I wonder how they will feel if this is to be stymied?
Should have said – Citizens’ Assemblies based on sortition apparently and according to Wikipedia: Today, sortition is commonly used to select prospective jurors in common law-based legal systems and is sometimes used in forming citizen groups with political advisory power (citizens’ juries or citizens’ assemblies).
Sad to say that many of XRs founders come from my neck of the woods, I am after-all surrounded by unreconstructed old hippies. I’m sure they like to direct funding through Pay-pal ‘crowdfunding’ to create the illusion that theirs is a movement with wide popular support, when the truth is likely very different.
Soros donation is unlikely to be peanuts, obviously.

The power-hungary communist dictator wannabes like Soros (his past clearly shows this is exactly what he is, among other things) rarely “give away money” to charities. They create charities as fronts to INVEST money in their quest for power. There is NO charity whatsoever. One sees this in virtually every wealthy, greedy, selfish twit out there (not all wealthy are selfish twits, but if you’re betting, that’s the way to bet). Celebrities do it, business people do. This is NOT charity. It’s tax-free investments for the billionaires and millionaires. Pure and simple. See the Clinton Foundation in America for our star example.
The President chosen by Soros to run his Open Society Foundation is Marxist Aryeh Neier ,founder in the 1960’s of ‘Students for Democracy,’ activist group committed to overthrowing American Institutions. The alleged transparency of funding is as fake as climate science. There is no such thing as transparent funding anymore, not that there ever really was. Two sets of books are common. Never assume the organization has only one bank account. Never assume the donations come from the actual name listed—donations by proxy are very easy and very common. As one who has actively worked in bookkeeping and accounting in the past, I can attest to the complete and total lie of the words “transparency of funding”.

I suspect that Soros’s involvement goes at lot deeper, the problem is in trying to tracing Soros’s contacts and funding is like trying to unpick knitted smoke.
As an aside ain’t it funny how all these mad Green groups whizz about on private planes and in fancy cars, and have overseas bank account in strange places?
I wonder if this Rebellion organization is incorporated with some off-shore entity in say …, Jersey, Isle of Man, Luxembourg, Austria (old “Sparbuch” accounts), Andorra, Cayman Isles, Belize, Panama, or British Virgin Islands, etc. After-all becoming the Übermensch after the fall of the capitalist system will take some considerable financing.

I feel that it’s actually more relevant that those I feel that should be highlighting the sponsorship of BLM , XR , AntiFa , the buying of elected legislators and the funding of the+ likes of The Justice Democrats (AOC + Green New Dealers) stateside are not doing their jobs properly imho. It really isn’t like most of it is hidden.
Open Society actually list quite a lot of what they do – I’ve looked and been shocked at the extents they presume to dictate public policy in plain sight.
Soros et al are nothing more than useful idiots for the UN. The UN extracts money from industrial countries and is using it to take down Capitalism. AGW is the piece de resistance in their push to become the One World Government and Western countries are unwittingly financing their own destruction. Just like no one wants to be responsible for CC the UN has ensconced itself as the single most important entity in world governance. Forget the UN charter, it has nothing to do with where they are today and probably the UN is responsible for having wars continue to play to their advantage than stopping them. Think about it. Just a few Western Countries withdrawing their financing of the UN would bring it down.
Surely this should be a priority investigation by the intelligence agency’s as its a clear & present danger to the national security, who would have the ability to render the “Extinction Rebellion” and its funders EXTINCT
The way I heard it the spooks in XR are treading on each other’s toes.
However, they are being protected by some politicians and by the BBC, their propaganda agent in chief. I imagine that the recent documentary has probably been more effective as recruitment advertising than many a jihadi video.

Hi Paul, I think that these documents expose only the tip of the funding iceberg.
I have a particular interest in CIFF – their website proudly proclaims that it is giving
$200,000-00 to XR for “climate change education” rather than the £121140 – I am assuming that this is a separate grant as Mr Hohn would be able to get a far better exchange rate !

If CIFF are channelling funds to XR for “education” through undisclosed accounts it is likely that other organisations are doing likewise.
The objective of the CIFF grant is: “securing public and political support for a climate citizens’ assembly in the UK ” – that is the overthrow of parliamentary democracy.
Given that Chris Hohn keeps very tight control over CIFF it is not possible that he is unaware that he is funding XR and the objectives that CIFF is seeking to promote.

It is claimed that it is an “Extinction symbol” based on a stylized hourglass to represent time running out for the environment – but all references to this on line are from the last couple of years. -If you want people to see an hourglass then where’s the sand? why not just draw an hourglass outline? – No-one sees an hourglass until they are told to. The fact is that it is an ancient Lakota tribe symbol (see pic below) which is a sun & earth symbol representing the phrase “as above – so below” ( https://www.ancient-symbols.com/symbols-directory/lakota-symbol.html) – which of course is the Freemasons main motto (https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/q=as%20above%20so%20below%20symbol&rs=typed.)

All Extinction Rebellion ever do is demand immediate action from governments causing an eco-panic & what is it that governments will do? – The only thing they can do to address this “emergency” is raise taxes & divert money from public services while geo-engineering continues to wipe out species & overheat the planet & of course mobilizing the far left to be set against the far right – more divide & conquer – K.
