The Real Climate Health Crisis – GWPF

May 22, 2020

By Paul Homewood

A new video from GWPF addresses eco-anxiety amongst children, pertinent as this is Mental Health week. Worth circulating on Facebook etc.

It is also highly relevant, as we seem to doing the same thing with kids over coronavirus. With apocalyptic reporting from the media and parents refusing to send their little Timmies back to school, are we going to end up with a generation too afraid to leave the house in case they catch some deadly disease?

It is the snowflake generation. These children need to be provided with safe spaces where they can come to no harm. No scratches, cuts or bruises allowed. There must be zero risk of any harm happening to them. They cannot be allowed to play outside.

They must live in a world where the climate never changes and where there are no extreme weather events. There must be no risk of floods, droughts, storms, heatwaves, snow or ice.

Reminds me of Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. Otherwise intelligent, rational, people who have a skewed attitude to risk when it comes to things like covid or cagw.

When people get into their teens they tend to forcibly reject the stupid ideas foisted on them when they were children, i.e. what their parents said. If we are entering a Grand Solar Minimum and there is significant cooling attached to that, the reaction will be very amusing.

Unfortunately when you have been browbeaten with ideology it sticks and it sticks because of fear. Give me the child till age of 7 and I will give you the man.

I lived with my maternal grandparents for most of my first 7 years.
Father in WW2, Mother working away from home.

My world view should have been that of my Granddad: “San Fairy Ann, Whiz Bang, Leave it in the Air!”.

But it ain’t. Jesuits! What do they know?

This in a nutshell shows the shear wickedness of those behind this scam. The reality is that they do not care about nature and least of all about people. Try turning every utterance of their mouthpieces through 180 degrees and you will find the truth. Given that Climate Fraud is thinly veiled marxism is it any wonder that they use the indoctrination ploy?

We live on a small rock orbiting a nuclear fusion reactor, in an absolute vacuum at minus 273C, with a thin layer of breathable gas. Life is indeed a risk. People do not understand the levels of risk that are already accepted. Take road traffic accidents, in the UK there is a 0.5% lifetime risk that you will be killed in road accident. World wide 1,250,000 people are killed on the roads (WHO 2013) that is equivalent to 5000 Boeing 737 Max crashing, but we just accept it (or are unaware of the risk) so we can get on with our lives.
Incidentally most of the deaths are motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians, so why is the government promoting cycling, in a risk averse society this deserves to be condemned by the media, just as they are about reopening the schools.

Because it’s a lot faster than walking & we need replacements for Froome, Cavendish & Thomas.

A “0.5% lifetime risk that you will be killed in road accident” is only accurate if your lifetime is in the past.

Hmm. Like Schrodinger’s cat, haven’t you resolved the risk to 0% or 100% at that point?

Depends whether you look both ways, ride a motorbike or drink.

It’s worth watching, again if you can bear it, Greta Thunberg’s address to the UN. You really do have to be concerned for her mental state and how she has been manipulated by political activists. As we know, so many impressionable minds look up to her. Even skipping school to go on protest marches has been legitimised, all be it unofficially.

Best not to speak to me about cyclists who get disproportionate support from politicians and the Treasury ( confiscation of road capacity to achieve excessive and expensive provision of urban infrastructure).
Currently most of the road capacity in the city where I live is unused . Recent extensive central area improvements are almost complete.
There are plenty of cyclists. Many use the pavements devoid of cycle lanes and not the almost empty roads. So the risk is transferred to the pedestrians.

More than just a mental health issue one would think. Child abuse and child exploitation would be more to the point.

The saddest part is the child abuse foisted on the young by little more than computer models predicting a catastrophic apocalypse…and believed by adults who should know better. Photos of polar bears and melting ice?

When these children are a little older, will they treat Science with utter contempt, or their teachers who have told them the lies?
Hopefully, a few at least will see through it and realise that the World isn’t like school should be. They will ‘grow up’, so we will have more sceptical adults, active, but sceptical, just like Michael Moore and his ‘Planet of the Humans’ film.

They will become normal, just like us!

Go on children! Surprise us all. 🙂

At this rate the new generation will be even worse than most of their parents at rationalizing risk.

Having stoked up completely unnecessary panic over CV19 and taken insanely disproportionate actions, the gov. has handed the mischievous unions the initiative.
As they say, there is no proof it is safe to go back to school (or do anything else for that matter), yet their is no proof it is dangerous either. You can’t prove something is safe, nothing is ever 100% safe. You can only use your judgement to assess that on the balance of probability, their is not a significant danger and that the benefits are great – which is obviously the case. So kids will be worrying excessively over CV19 too – probably don’t want to go back to school; All because of a flapdoodle government, an irresponsible politicized out of control MSM, and contradictory messages from vested interests and other protagonists playing politics.

Be afraid, be very……… no don’t, just don’t bother.

For the millions of years that humanity, in some form or other, has inhabited the earth it has constantly had to adapt to the vagaries of the climate. Now, hubristically, man thinks that he has the power to control it!
This is wrong on so many levels. Predictions of what the climate is going to do are notoriously unreliable – almost to the point of being criminal – as are the people who peddle the more extreme prophesies of doom.
In the same way that the general public have seemingly been scared witless by the extraordinarily extreme Government reaction to this virus to the extent that they seem incapable of emerging from their funk so, too, go they appear to have swallowed the ADW propaganda.
In both instances their reaction ignores the plentiful research and evidence that reveals the invalidity of the false science being used to perpetuate a dangerous myth.

The development of mass and social media is a Pandora Box, the lids off.
The psychology driven media has control of many of the population. 1984, not government, the media.
BBC is one of the leaders in this. Bias, selective, by omission, selective interviews, all the basics of control of a drama.
