NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT 
This sort of thing just reemphasizes the stupidity of these global warming, aka “climate change” political alarmists who must actually believe that if we took all fossil fuel energy emissions to zero (and net-zero) the climate would respond to save the Arctic. Lowering emissions takes no CO2 out. Taking CO2 out by industrial capture to get back to 350 ppm would require storing 500 gigatons. That, if actually done, would leave the climate where it was in 1987. If that isn’t stupid, what is?
Since CO2 doesnt noticably change the climate, taking 500gigs out now in 2022 would leave the climate as it is now in 2022.
But they think it does. An entire CCS industry has sprouted up to give it a try. So far, collectively they store about 40 million tons a year. We added 40 billion last year. May take a while to get to zero.
Great way to guilt control the plantation once digital money is introduced. That will leave only the globalists like Alok Sharma (35+ plane trips in lockdown) and Kerry (private jet) to move around.
Talk about retro-fitting back the Soviet Union.
Ah Broadlands, the halcyon days of 1987 when co2 was at a level that made the weather perfect… unless you lived in southern England of course, which got flattened by the Great Storm of that year, or Montreal, which succumbed to record flooding, or China, which saw the record breaking conflagration known as the ‘Black Dragon’ wildfire, or the Philippines and Vietnam, that got trashed by typhoons, or in the Atlantic basin that witnessed a paltry 3 hurricanes that year etc etc. Yep getting co2 back to the level it was in 1987 will make the weather all fine and dandy. Sadly, there are so called ‘scientists’ out there who actually believe that.
It is not stupidity. They know exactly what they are doing; lying to achieve a malign end. Malign for the rest of us, that is.
What is missing in ALL of these discussions, as always, is one question . . . Has the Earth ever been this warm before ? The answer is an unequivocal YES ! Five (5) times during the Holocene, two (2) times since Anthony and Cleopatra romped in Egypt. No . . . CO2 did not cause those Warming Periods ! What did then you may ask ? . . . Nature, Nature alone.

Is CO2 a problem ? Yes as it pertains to the real pollution that is attached to the CO2 from burning Fossil Fuels The by-products from burning fossil fuels, Real Pollution . . .
1. Sulfur dioxide (SO2), which contributes to acid rain and respiratory illnesses
2. Nitrogen oxides (NOx), which contribute to smog and respiratory illnesses
3. Particulates, which contribute to smog, haze, and respiratory illnesses and lung disease
4. Mercury and other heavy metals linked to both neurological and developmental damage
5. Fly ash and bottom ash, that are residues created when power plants burn coal
All of these things, ALL can be removed. We have Long Had these solutions if we but ask. The Coal Burning Power Generating station at Beldune New Brunswick, Canada has had this clean up in place for over 20 years . . . They even make gypsum board (drywall) after recycling the water used by the scrubbers in the chimneys. Environmentalists NEVER advocate a clean up . . . They are bent on destroying the Fossil Fuel industry . . . NOT on cleaning up the Earth. See page 7 & 8 . . .

We are all so busy focusing on the fear mongering that ‘Climate Change’ is Man-Made we never stop to look at History and the 18 cycles that have occurred in just the last 10,000 years. Rather than converting away from a plentiful resource to bad alternatives, we need to ask is there anything that we can do NOW to clean up our mess ?

Environmentalism and a clean agenda is a good thing ! But not if it acts without first asking the right questions . . . and looking for real solutions to clean up Planet Earth . . .
The problem you have Jim is you’re applying logic, reason and evidence-based solutions.
The Green movement possess none of your qualities or aspirations. Their objectives are NOT to keep calm and carry on, albeit better. Their real objectives are to substantially de-populate Earth, giving priority to the planet over human progress every time.
They actively seek to avoid your solutions precisely because they’re solutions to problems they don’t want to solve.
If they solve the problems they make themselves redundant and then they’ll lose their purpose. So they seek sub-standard policies to keep themselves relevant.
The Green movement are anti-nuclear communists who moved across en masse from CND when the Cold War ended to join Greenpiss, the Woke Wanker Fund et al.

Now that the UK Government has decided to ignore Covid-19 in the future, the propaganda they plant with the MSM is heavily along the lines of “nothing to see here except good news.” But the interesting thing is that they are STILL lying about the Science! Only taking the opposite tack from before.
“Serious Covid-19 will [sic] soon be gone”. That is as unsupportable a wild prediction as, “A million cases a day by Christmas” was. Again, the fact that Omicron often produces symptoms of the common cold has been artfully spun into “Omicron IS just a cold.”
There is an interesting truth, however, and that is that Omicron was obviously made* in a lab, somewhere, to only infect the upper respiratory system and not the lower respiratory system. and released with the intention of blowing the Delta away throughout the world; thus bringing the whole, now boring, experiment to a close. The peculiar phrase that Johnson recently used, “Omicron will blow through!” is interesting as indicating that he has possibly received secret intelligence to this effect.

Dear “dave”, Covid 19 has always included a bit of HIV genome, one of the indicators it was produced in a lab.

My understanding is that this has changed in the Omicron; but I am not sufficiently interested, or technically au fait, to go down the rabbit hole to establish this detail.
It strikes me that perhaps it was a stroke of genius to release it in South Africa – if indeed it was ‘made’ to order – as the perfect cover is available there, i.e. blame it on a ‘mixing’ of viruses in the eight million immuno-suppressed AIDS infected.

dave, I’ve got to ask what is the standard deviation in both charts? The whole thing could be a statistical trick. The mean temperatures could actually be equal, but with a larger standard deviation in the right hand side chart.
