    Revised Google motto: “Do evil”.

A question for the WEF or Google (or anyone actually): What does “sustainable” mean?

    • October 4, 2022 5:15 pm

It is a meaningless space filler word used by all and sundry inhabiters of the intellectual vacuum which is the climate industrial complex. What should be science is now replaced by performance art.

Peter Foster: Sustainable Newspeak by 2050 https://financialpost.com/opinion/peter-foster-sustainable-newspeak-by-2050
“Like the word ‘social,’ ‘sustainable’ tends to vitiate or reverse the meaning of words to which it is attached. Thus ‘sustainable’ development is development retarded by top-down control”

This is how Rome stole Christianity and turned it into a repressive dictatorship.

The Roman Empire did not “steal ” Christianity …It became the state religion of Rome after the emporer Constantine converted

      —and the pessimistic/realistic conclusion:
“… we do not expect any foreseeable UK government to have the courage to undertake such actions. Nevertheless, further delay and self-indulgent toying with renewable energy will only delay the inevitable return to physically superior fossil fuels.

It is almost certain that things will get much worse before they get better.”

What to do when your product, service or science loses market or traction?
Eliminate the alternatives.. Time to dust down the Anti Trust laws in the U S.

So the UN saw facts that didn’t fit the approved narrative as “incredibly distorted information”. The Under Secretary General for Communication is so far up her own rectum that she certainly cannot recognise what science is and prefers to talk about “the science” as being something that can be owned.
Thw qualifications for the job obviously include being as thick as 5H1T.
Where does the UN find these idiots?
Science cannot be owned you stupid femal canine.

  7. October 4, 2022 12:10 pm

They DO NOT own the science. No one “owns” science. The fact that she wants all other opinions censored, is a disclaimer of science.

This could be taken straight from Dr Goebbels play book, denying truth to protect the State or in this case the UN and its aspiration to OWG.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

    Yet another Truth Denier.
She wants the proverbial done to her with a ragman’s trumpet.
But of course she will walk away enriched and as arrogant as ever.

This is probably the reason I no longer use Google search. Seems like their plan backfired…

Haven’t used Google search for a long while. I use DuckDuckGo.

The Catholic Church believed they owned the science during the Medieval period too …

Why resurrect the Inquisition when you have the British police – the paramilitary wing of The Guardian and Stonewall
        – correcting citizens thinking ?

If the United Nations was in faithful synchrony with “the science ” partnering with Google to rig flattering search engine results would not be necessary would it ?…..

Until the Lutheran Reformation and the Gutenberg printing press revolution , the medieval Catholic Church “owned ” the bibles and mass liturgies composed in Latin to dominate the minds of a largely illiterate peasantry versed only in their native tongues on much the same principle …. This is why Pauls NALOPKT blog, Anthony’s WUWT , Jo Nova , Marcs Climate Depot , Tony Hellers Real Climate et al provide such an important service to the wider public ..They are the Gutenberg presses of the climate debate

The ‘science’ owned by the UN (specifically the International Panel on Climate Change, IPCC) is, as it happens, the wrong science. The midwife and first chairman (for ten years) of the IPCC, Bert Bolin, was a meteorologist (as were almost all the other members) who was fixated on carbon dioxide as the villain. Since we have caused in increase of only about one part in ten thousand of this trace gas (most is scrubbed out by rain), it is unlikely this is the cause of global warming.

The real problem is the 75 – 80% of the energy from the combustion of fossil fuels that enters the atmosphere as waste heat. See the NASA montage of our planet at night. If you would like the full story of why this gargantuan mistake occurred send me a blank email to john.hollaway@gmail.com with Bolin as the subject.

Hi John. Just a small correction (it may have been auotcorrected) but IPCC stands for Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. It is an important distinction as it demonstrates the IPCC. is a political body, not a scientific one.

From Wikipedia “Melissa Ruth Fleming is an American journalist,”…..”Fleming holds a bachelor’s degree in German studies from Oberlin College, Ohio and a masters’ degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University, Massachusetts.”
Well that’s an impressive set of scientific qualifications! She really must own all science on behalf of the entire world.
I am getting past being polite these days with twats like this.

And The Times journalists on science and environment are mostly history and English graduates from Oxford.
They may write well but they don’t question anything and so are easily convinced of doom laden stories or believe in new technologies saving us.

Bad news is what journalists thrive on. “If it bleeds, it leads” is the phrase used and journalists, being the most cynical workforce around, are only interested in their byline against a headline.
They are leeches on the body of humanity.

Ah, Oberlin College, that bastion of ‘liberal’ values, which was recently ordered by a court to pay Gibson’s Bakery the sum of $44m over a shop-lifting/racism dispute. Foul wokery.

Climate science concurrance requires 3 or more respondants to agree to concur, however the science is disproven by the first competant respondant who can disprove any component aspect of the ‘science’.
I consider Paul achives this outcome on a daily basis.

It’s the same appalling authoritarian mindset that Jacinda Ardern used on New Zealanders regarding Covid: “We will continue to be your single source of truth”. Chilling.
