Doctors Told To Cut Treatment To Tackle Climate Change

October 7, 2021

This is utterly criminal.

And why is the Telegraph’s Health Reporter not criticising this nonsense?

So let peoples’ real cancer develop undiagnosed in order to tackle an imaginary problem? Right!

That was the original treatment for the Virus, palliative care, with added NHS isolation.

Climate change..aka Global warming is a “serial killer” abusing us???

What total nonsense. How could man-made CO2 in the global atmosphere be a health problem? Maybe in some stuffy faculty lounge, windows closed, with smokers lighting up while discussing the dangerous future in front of us if we take no immediate and sustainable action.

The UK’s share of the planet’s total manmade CO2 being 0.0013%, such convected/ignorant/demented suggestions are just that, and wholly unethical and inhumane, should be made thought crimes!

We don’t suffer CC over our village because of the efforts of our GPs in not seeing their patients.
Well, it seems like that. I had a problem walking (bad hip) – the Doc felt it right to analyse it on the phone (failed) when he used to be known for always watching patients walk to his consulting rooms.

You can tell a lot about a person’s physical (and mental/emotional) condition by observation. My GP calls me out of the waiting room and always follows me into her consulting room for that purpose.
She will, at a push, renew my regular prescription over the phone but much prefers to see me face to face once every six months. The total opposite of the current situation in the UK!
(If I recall Billy Connolly’s early-stage Parkinsons was recognised by somebody quite unknown to him watching him walk across a hotel lobby.)

    Shouldn’t the question be “Why ISN’T the Telegraph’s Health Repoter criticising . . . ?”?

    That philosophy is quite correct!

Reduced medical testing will lead to more-rapid deaths from undiagnosed/untreated complications, so reducing global population quicker.

As St David Attenborough opined “Humans are a plague on earth”, so there’s no point in prolonging* lives.

    https://www.independent.co.uk/climate-change/news/humans-are-a-plague-on-earth-sir-david-attenborough-warns-that-negative-effects-of-population-growth-will-come-home-to-roost-8461570.html

*Except when that St David Attenborough determined to prolong his own presence on this earth: ‘At 94, I think I can jump the vaccine queue’.

    Bloody hypocrite.

The BMJ has been taken over by climate extremists, they will not consider any criticisms of this meme. This is similar to the National Trust. The climate activists have taken over many of our institutions: the BBC is even vocally sympathetic to XR and Insulate Britain.

I often wake up wondering “can it be long before we reach Peak Stupid?”

It’s like hill walking. You get to what you think is the peak, only for another higher one to come into view.

The country has been calling for reductions in overdiagnosis and overtreatement for generations, but not much is ever done because the NHS and its staff are terrified of litigation if something goes wrong.

Following a hip replacement that went wrong (no ones fault) at one point I had to persuade the doctor in charge of the ward I was in that I should be discharged. I had to point out (eventually rather abruptly) that my vitals were no different to when I was admitted. It was a complete battle for several hours before I was eventually discharged. I had already been occupying a £1,000 a day hospital space (the cost of any hospital bed) for days longer than was required.

Then there’s Dr. Matthews. What can I say about this utter numpty. Early intervention in, for example, breast cancer is essential, and the earlier the better as it can be a very fast moving condition.

Perhaps the next time (or probably the first time) she finds a lump on her breast she should just ignore it. Lets just see how happy she’ll be when she’s told to wait six months, because saving the planet is more important that the extreme anxiety women suffer over this. My wife and two daughters have all been grateful for a commendably quick turnaround from reporting it to examination. All negative thankfully.

Then there’s the ‘carbon cost’ (I wish these effing ‘scientists’ would use the correct terminology, CO2, better still, atmospheric CO2) of having to treat patients who are suffering from moderately progressed breast, testicular, prostate, skin, or any other type of cancer. It’s mind boggling! MRI’s, X-rays, chemo, days, weeks or months in hospital or travelling to and from the place, not to mention the disposables like gowns (and PPE these days as well) drugs, radiation therapy, community nurses visiting sometimes daily.

Then, of course, Dr. Godle wades in with her pitch for freebies up to Glasgow, to be wined and dined by the hangers on of the climate faithful.

Where in God’s name do we dig up these loonies?

“I had already been occupying a £1,000 a day hospital space (the cost of any hospital bed) for days longer than was required.”

Happened to me. Hospitalised due to undiagnosed diabetes coupled with a blood infection. Once treated, made a very quick recovery but had to finish the course of antibiotics which involved two injections per day. Rather than arranging for me to complete the course as an out patient, they kept me in just for that. Once I had finished with the injections it took an additional day to get me discharged.

And we are now warned that the flu deaths count this winter will be greatly elevated (to ~50K in the UK) because we’ve all been hiding away so that (1) herd immunity hasn’t been built, and (2) not enough samples are available to sequence and prepare the vaccine. Yet another (intended consequence?) side effect of this govt’s disastrous pandemic response that was warned about.

People don’t realise that the BMJ is just a trade union. It should be banned as it serves no useful purpose – in fact it does more harm than good.

And could take The Lancet with it given the drivel that publishes and its failure over the true source of Covid, which could have started even earlier in May 2019 if reports of a surge in orders for PCR tests in the Wuhan province prove to be true.

The Telegraph is failing everyone under Chris Evans – I think he is the current Editor. Its days are surely numbered and this is just one indicator of the paper’s failure to be an honest journal.

The only “testing” that should be “cut back”, in fact abolished entirely, is Covid testing.

The PCR test is supposed to be used ONLY to confirm an expert medical diagnosis, in collaboration with a laboratory constructed and managed to the most exacting standards.

A very far cry indeed from the tens of thousands of tests carried out on the asymptomatic and sent to dodgy and mismanaged Nightingale labs.

The clear aim of Boris and Communist Party stalwart Susan Michie (Stalin’s Nanny) is to enforce compliance using Project Fear.

    Zero Carbon measures inexorably follow.

Anything rather than admit that HMG’s response to the KungFlu has been an absolute disaster and that far more people will die of Lockdown than genuinely of Covid.

Don’t forget that those run over by a bus 27 days after a “test” are still recorded as Covid deaths.

It is the new religion Fran.
Not long ago people were controlled by threats of terror from the pulpit.
“God will strike you down if you don’t do as you’re told.”

Now God has been substituted for Climate Change.
Aided and abetted by morally corrupt media barons and banksters.
