Meanwhile, a Norwegian banker joins Joe Biden in comforting us that the “pain is worth it”:

Funny, but I don’t remember ever voting for that!

I wish the good lady would explain just how this “pain” is “worth it”?

Do bankers and finaciers live in a different world? How can increased energy costs benefit industry, quite the reverse is evident. How does increased energy costs benefit the average person? Is there a gain in making them poorer?

What gain is there in this idea? It certainly has achieved moving industry eastward, and reduces the west’s economic development.

History has a habit of repeating itself, destroying what I consider to be essential industries such as steel and aluminium production, chemicals, and so on means that in times of conflict we will have little domestic production to use in protecting ourselves. Short sighted does not come into it!

I know some people believe this is good but why? The pertinent comment above, “Funny, but I don’t remember ever voting for that!” hits the nail on the head.

Oh yes you did. This is UN Agenda 30 for Sustainability and your government is fully signed up to it.

On the mystery of what the motivation is for what the WEF people and fellow travellers are doing, the writer James Heartfield had a go at explaining it in his 2008 book “Green Capitalism: manufacturing scarcity in an age of abundance”.

The opening paragraph of the book is:

“The global elite is in the grip of a terrible nightmare. The nightmare is cornucopia. For the ruling classes nothing is more alarming than the steady rise in mass consumerism. Across the world they see the advance of consumer power as a drain on their precious resources. The age of plenty is an anathema to them. Superstores, cheap air travel, fat kids, suburban sprawl, and takeaway food fill them with dread. Their biggest fear is that the Chinese should take to driving cars. They dream instead of restoring strict limits on consumption. If scarcity is in danger of being overcome, their ambition is to artificially recreate it.”

It is difficult to get inside the heads of these people, and Heartfield’s explanation might be as good as any.

It’s about power/status. It does weird things. When working in the fields turned you brown, brown was avoided. When being brown meant foreign holidays, everybody wanted to be tanned. Now it’s a sign of being a pleb again as it means cheap flights. Now everybody can afford a car or a steak, the status is in giving them up.

Yes “Bankers”, a quintessential spelling mistake if ever there was one; they do; one evidential situation is the unthinking acceptance of ESG – ” Environmental, Social and Governace” as a mandatory principle by which all facts of financial services have to live by. ( funny how all forms of the root word “mandate are creeping ever further into our consciousness – but not mine).

This is true whether it is investing “OPM” or producing “something”. Try telling this to a Trustee who fully understands their fiduciary responsibilities especially how they MUST maximise the return to the beneficiaries commensurate with the risk they undertake by virtue of the “prudent man” rule. How do they stand legally if they fall for the contrick and invest “fully ESG” only tp find their investments are chock full of greenwash lies?

When the Trustee Act is amended to enforce ESG you know the woke brigade are winning – God help us all.

If you want to see an “ESG” disciple squirm , ask them how do they filter the banking industry for money laundering misdemeanours and fines; ask them what metrics do they apply to the Pharmaceutical Industry – do they filter for fines incurred for class actions regarding drugs that kill; do they filter for drug trial protocols adhering to the Cochrane standard; do they filter for drug trial misdemeanours where endpoints are never reached, control groups eradicated ( because they are given the drug…) – the list of factors they COULD use to differentiate those ethical drug companies from the endemically criminal, drug trial fraudsters, Fauci funded and as morally upright as the Sacker family..

A sniper’s bullet for these people is long overdue.

The pain will be all yours, not theirs. So, yeah, it’s worth it. To them.

Climate Change is the tool of totalitarian statists. Braathen and Schwab want you to accept your demise. By yours, I mean Western Civilization. Nobody else believes this absurdity.

“Speaking about small and medium businesses in Davos, Norwegian finance CEO Kjerstin Braathen says energy transition will create energy shortages and inflationary pressures, but this “pain” is “worth it.”

Apparently she does not understand that the energy transition requires fuels for transportation. That means vehicles that run on gasoline and biofuels…renewable ethanol. The pain is already showing up as her forecast of increasing shortages and higher prices continues. Worth destroying the path to renewables? To all-electric transportation?
    Clueless in Norway!

Norway is a relatively rich country and society by virtue of its Sovereign Wealth Fund built up almost exclusively on the back of its extensive offshore oilfields!

Forget about voting! That’s only symbolic since a number of years. Look at Sweden 2018, USA 2020 and France 2022, with numbers of votes “corrected” at some point …

There are probably more examples and one will show up at Sept. 11th this year in Sweden. (Just one other rigged incident …) Despite years of expensive disasters , the largest Socialist party is suspected to “win” again. Voters can’t be that stupid, but in Sweden anything is possible, unless election fraud …

For starters . . . There is no such thing as ‘Clean or Green Energy’ !
    ALL Energy Production of ALL kinds . . . Poisons Planet Earth . . . Somewhere, Somehow . . .
    Do Not be fooled . . . Wind Turbines . . . Solar Panels . . . Bio-Fuels . . . Electric Cars . . . ALL BAD!

They ALL have a Huge Carbon Footprint Hidden behind Propaganda . . .

    Elitist Environmental Propaganda

Under ‘Net Zero’ . . .The Global Carbon Footprint Increases !

Why does the media and government . . . NEVER check the FACTS ??

Funnily enough the Cambridge Sustainability Commision report found that if the richest 10% of society were to bring their emissions into line with the level of the average European and the remaining 90% of people did nothing global emissions would drop by a third in a couple of years.

It also found that the top 1% of earners were responsible for 75% of consumption emissions so perhaps the solution (if you happen to believe there is a problem with CO2) is to start at the top!

Those numbers are global incomes, not local. So virtually everyone in the developed world is that 10% or 1%. Which is obvious – billionaires only drive one car at a time, they only use one aircraft at a time, only live in one house at a time, same as us. They eat the same quantity of food as us, heat their homes to the same temperature, use the same electronic gadgets as
us. So their carbon footprint simply could not be that big compared with us. Bigger yes, but no hundreds of times bigger.

Most of that may be so, but when they have five or six home consuming energy all at the same time the principle applies.

‘Norwegian finance CEO Kjerstin Braathen says energy transition will create energy shortages and inflationary pressures, but this “pain” is “worth it.”‘

Gamecock can translate: It’s a trick. They are turning your power off.

Telling you it is a ‘transition’ doesn’t stir the blood enough to get you to take action.

‘Transition’ is a focus group tested head fake, concealing your fate. There quite literally is nothing to transition to. Obviously, they expect you to die. But it will be worth it.

The paradox is these WEF world leading financial experts, failed to identify the weakness in the world’s financial systems that led to the worldwide banking collapse in 2008.
They are all just followers of fashion not a single new idea emerges from any of their gatherings.

The global agenda is exactly what’s happening here in the UK. Our government has stopped governing the UK for the people of the UK. Instead we’re dead last.

    Theresa May;

Capitulated to all EU negotiation demands.

Disgracefully fake ‘Withdrawal Agreement’, clearly designed not to take UK out of EU properly but to keep UK aligned and act as a blueprint to re-join.

Deliberately invented ‘Backstop’ to weaponise the Irish border, keeping Northern Ireland under EU administration and laws. Straight-up Treason.

Migrant Treaty and Net Zero, both passed in HoC without any serious debate or vote. UK public not asked.

    Boris Johnson;

Refuses point-blank to stop Channel illegals. Now 30k and counting. By year end will likely be 100K in total for past 3 years.

1 million UK visas granted last year. One million! every one carrying residential permission. Astounding betrayal from the man who campaigned in 2019 GE to ‘cut immigration to the tens of thousands’.

Net Zero is ruining UK economy on multiple levels. Will have NO IMPACT on global emissions or concentrations and therefore on any so-called ‘global warming’. Already guaranteed to fail central (claimed) objective. Cost; unconfirmed by CCC, but hundreds of billions if we’re lucky. Likely trillions. Government impervious to public concerns.

    Brexit;
Not done yet, due to disgraceful NIP. (See Traitor May) Keeps UK in EU’s orbit. You think this is just a coincidence? Lol.
UK fishing fleet can be found in…France!

There’s a few more but those are enough to illustrate the point several times over. UK electorate ignored, borders and laws traduced. Globalist policies given clear priority over UK.
There’ll be plenty more, too. Absolute b*stards.

The history since WW2 is the fragmentation of countries from their monolithic whole. The Soviet Union broke up into many states. The same with Yugoslavia. Egypt, Jordan and Syria tried to form an Alliance that was supposed to be joined by Libya to form the UAR. That worked well. Globalists are never-ending in their aim of one-world government where voters are not required. However, they fail to notice that people voting with their feet reject this agenda.

I don’t see WEF as One World Government. I see them as a Wannsee Conference on how they are going to kill us all. They don’t want to rule us; they want us dead.
