Each one weighs about 1,688 tons (equivalent to 23 houses) and they contain 1,300 tons of concrete and 295 tons of steel for the masts (Concrete and Steel = 15% Global CO2). 3.5 tons of copper, 48 tons of iron, 24 tons of fiberglass Then there are the rare earth minerals . . . 800 lbs. of neodymium-boron per turbine, praseodymium, and dysprosium. The leaching into the environment from tailings ponds, the radiation released into the environment and the mining of these minerals are all Embedded Costs. Where are all the calculations for all of these in The Environmental reports? Each blade weighs 81,000 pounds and will last about 15 to 20 years, then, it must be replaced. Oh, we cannot recycle used blades yet either! That is why we see them lying on the ground at wind farms after they have been replaced. What about the coal burned and electricity used at all the production facilities processing these essential components and the CO2 generated during their production?
Somehow is this ‘Green Magic’ without pollution, because it will be used to produce Green Energy? Not likely! It all gets brushed under the ‘Big Green Rug’ and seems irrelevant because ‘It’s for a Good Cause’ . . . Absolutely NOT !!
There may be a place for these technologies in our economy, but first we must look beyond the myth and The Propaganda of the ‘Zero Emissions’ Lies, long before we declare them ’Emissions Free’.
Oh . . . Following the crazy ‘green energy’ agenda will give China the same power that Russia exerted on the world . . . because they make ALL the primary components that go into them. This all just plum CRAZY !!

Biden’s behaviour has nothing to do with the Environment: it looks more like a complete trashing of everything the country has worked towards, for at least 75 years.
With Barry in the basement, and his controller feeding him orders, to give to Quid Pro Joe, it’s time to look at current events from a national security angle. The same can be said in Britain if fraccing doesn’t get the go-ahead this coming week.
With London taking £30m from the Welsh budget, and £65m from the Scottish budget, to send to Ukraine, which will only prolong the military action, resulting in an even smaller Ukraine and many more deaths, there doesn’t seem to be a reverse gear available to the US, EU or the UK:

Struggling to understand just how oil drilling produces ozone damaging emissions. Is it the drilling process itself or the combustion of oil in its later life? I would be shocked to be told that this highly reactive gas was trapped underground for millions of years.
Are they claiming the combustion products, such as CO2 or H2O, damage the ozone layer or even produce ozone? Is it that partially combusted hydrocarbons damage ozone?
Methane is volatile and can be lost from crude oil. This could be during drilling, leakage or venting gas as it’s transported through pipes.
Chemical equations – like CH4 + 2O2 into CO2 + 2H2O – are summaries; what you start with to what you end with.
In reality, such reactions take place in little steps, an atom removed here or added there. At any stage, there may be several options open to what happens next. (When teaching I used the analogy of the word game changing, say, HEAT into COLD a letter at a time).
For example, UV light can split H atoms from CH4 molecules, forming CH3 and H. These are called free radicals (fr) and are very reactive. The H free radical may react with H2O forming OH and OH fr’s.
In turn, OH frs may react with O2, forming H and O3 (ozone).

Ironically ozone can be produced by the interaction of sunlight and photo-chemical smog from vehicle exhausts. Mind you, that’s a ground level where ozone is a problem. It’s not unusual for large ozone plants close to major conurbations to have alarms go off because the ambient ozone level has exceeded the exposure threshold.
These people are criminals. They claim they were ‘elected’ and may now sit in the WH but make no mistake their laws bear no resemblance to what Americans want or need. This is deliberate self-destruction.
