Mayorkas says immigration crisis due to climate change

How do you know when Mayorkas is lying? When he opens his mouth!

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said Sunday that the immigration crisis at the southern border is not unique to the U.S., and that southern countries are also seeing a massive influx of migrants due to the global economic downturn and climate change.

Alejandro Mayorkas is Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary, who has deliberately opened the US southern border to anybody who wants to come.

He calls this “enforcing our laws".As a consequence, illegal immigration has hit record levels, with 220,000 in May alone.

His latest claim about climate change is without foundation. There is no evidence that people in Central America are starving or worse off because of (non-existent) climate change:

On the contrary, food output has consistently risen in recent years, and hit an all time high in 2020.

He mentions Costa Rica and Colombia – and he is correct that migration to those countries has increased. However, in the one case it involves Nicaragua and the other Venezuela. Both are utter basket cases and people have been fleeing those countries for many years now – not much to do with climate change, all to do with bad political situations.

This all seems like the familiar political search for scapegoats when your own policy is seen to be a hopeless failure…

People fleeing left-wing regimes that have destroyed their economies is never something left-wingers will admit is happening.

I hear that the wreckers occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue sent emissaries to Venezuela to beg for more oil a couple of months back … Sounds like drugs were involved in the deal too – a task suited to the expert skills of Big Fella’s boy?

The Susan Rice administration… are they deliberately crashing the economy ?

I really hope that karma kicks in hard for these people – I’ve had enough and I don’t even live there.

The Met Office again, 41C for 16th July predicted for first time ever. Is this really a sign of global warming or GIGO models programmed with dumb global warming bias!

Another dumb piece on the BBC today on how “unlovable” Australia is becoming – funny that the Aboriginals have lived their for 40,000 years quite happily through everything that “climate” can throw at them!
Might be worth you perusal, Paul?

Tiny changes in temperature and possibly very small increases in thd frequency of “extremes” that nobody would notice if we weren’t constantly told about them. Unliveable.
