I’m not sure who is worse – the writer or the editor who should have told her to get a grip!

The saddest and most worrying aspect of this genuinely felt drivel is that there are hundreds of thousands of “Debra’s” who swallow this groupthink without any comprehension of the reality.

I am regularly critisized about my views on ‘climate change’ whist ‘engaging’ with folks on fb.Invariably its because I take a different viewpoint to MSM. One chap/individule provided me with articles that he/they had gleaned from the Guardian.so I suppose we must all be wrong about it.

The problem with modern society, is people accept without question what they are told. The fact they don’t realise that in increase of atmospheric CO2 from 280ppm to 420ppm, is a rise from 0.028% to 0.042%, this hardly constitutes a “Climate Crisis”!

We have had 25 years of this drivel. I have not seen any change in the climate whatsoever. The proof that mankind is not responsible is there for all to see in the NOAA readings during the Covid19 Pandemic, the rate at which atmospheric CO2 was rising, was unchanged!

People remain wilfully ignorant and still – amazingly – have a lot of trust in the legacy media. And even more worryingly, still believe the government and others such as the NHS. Perhaps when it is impossible to cover up the vaccine scandal any longer, the masses might get wise. The evidence is already out there is you look.

“May you live in ‘interesting’ times” (Alleged old Chinese curse.)

If the Online Security Bill makes it onto the statute book, you will only need to have a history of commenting on here or Wattsupwiththat etc., or to point out that computer modelling of the climate is as firmly based in science and as usefull for long extrapolations to ‘project’ the future, as the Covid predictions of Professor Pantsdown Ferguson or the study of tea leaves or chicken entrails.

It only needs some Woke copper to imagine that someone might be upset by your comment and you will be in line for a couple of years’ porrige.

And don’t imagine that you actually getting genuinely (and justly) enraged, by your 6 yr old Granddaughter being taught at school by some drag queen perve that some little boys have periods, will result in said perve being in the next cell.

    It won’t work that way.

This scenario is all too common. The local LibDem representative called to deliver an election leaflet. I said that the LibDems were good on local issues but would not receive our votes because of their position on climate change. I ran through a bit of the science of CO2 and greenhouse gases. I was amazed when he said “I’m a physicist and you are absolutely right, but we are not all about climate change” I replied “You could have fooled me” and showed him the candidate’s leaflet. QED.

When you read the exhanges in the climategate FOI emails, assuming all are genuine, it is apparent that even the warming scientists seem to have lost track of the warming, state there are no good models due to their not including levels of cloud cover, and that it was 1 degree C warmer than the present in the Medieval Warm Period (which of course included a few centuries of successful farming in eastern Greenland) whose actual occurence they also appear accept. Warming, then, as an article of faith?

This points up the blurring going on…. We can all be justifiable concerned about natural climate change. But it’s the reason behind the surface concern which is the point…..the narrow focus on “greenhouse gases”…..but carefully omitting to consider the most potent GG of all, water vapour. The dramatic predictions of temperature rises stem from wild derivations of the climate sensitivity of CO2….giving that range of between 1.5 and 4.5degC rise for a doubling of CO2 in the atmosphere. However, this range of results has been progressively reduced since 2000, and during the last 5 years putting the figure around 0.5degC, (from David Coe, and available to see in this blog’s archive), and even less than 0.5degC. What is alarming is to observe on a 38Degrees petition, that picture from one of Attenborough’s films, of the scrawny polar bear limping along about to die from starvation due to lack of sea ice…..this being displayed concurrently with new publicly stated figures showing that the Polar Bears are doing just fine. All of us, abused as being no more than conspiracy theorists are being proved right. But the evidence continues to matter little. It’s the alarmist narrative which is designed to frighten us all into shutting down perfectly acceptable FF energy use and accept an authoritarian world government. But Net Zero is now becoming under challenge, across the globe as I read it, Three cheers! We must keep on keeping on………

Back to basics. The Club of Rome, now the WEF raised climate and population issues in the 80’s and it has continued to grow.

We know that there is no Climate emergency, it is a fabrication started by the UN at the Rio Conference in 1992. Since that time, as Maurice Strong who was a proponent of World Government by the UN. He visualized the best way to accomplish the goal was to collapse Western societies was by creating mass hysteria proselytized by the willing dupes in our education system that CO2 is going to destroy the world because allegedly it will cause the temperature to go up 3*C.

At a recent news conference in Brussels, Costa Rican Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism. “This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution,” she said.

So we were warned in 1992 and the politicians with their 5 year foresight did not understand that the Neo Marxist Lefties , the Davos Mutual Admiration Society led by Soros and WEF operate in the long term horizons

The EX rebellion, Insulate UK Rebellion, Just Stop Oil, Antifa. BLM like the NGO’s, Greedpiece ( Min of Environment of Canada an ex activist), WWF( Comrade Butts ex PCO), Tides, Suzuki Foundation, Sierra Club, Friends of the Earth. Local Ecology Action centres and etc. are well funded by foreign money principally located, in the USA but Russia has been covertly funding the anti fracking in the West.

We are told that CO2 is causing ‘Climate Change’. How many people even know the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere? Very few. Tell them that it is about 420 ppm (parts per million). Blank look. An actual percentage: (0.04%). Better.
But this works: – 100 years ago for every 10,000 molecules in the air about 3 were CO2. Now it is about 4. That change causes ‘Climate Change’!!
Then consider this: – CO2 is a weak greenhouse gas absorbing infra-red in 2 narrow ranges. Water vapour absorbs over a much wider range and, on average, it is about 3%. i.e., about 60 times the concentration of CO2.
‘Climate Change’ due to CO2 is a myth.

Meteo France is forecasting 40+ max for next Sunday and Monday (southern Burgundy). If correct that will be the warmest it has been in at least the last 12 years. It’s still only weather! When 40 becomes the average max for July I’ll start to think we might be getting into something. It’s a similar story with Chris Skidmore on Twitter. He’s getting put well and truly put straight. Net Zero can break or make the Conservatives.

Break; just carry on as usual wrecking the country and ruining business and personal finances.

Make; defer or sack it off completely. (sacking it off isn’t reasonable, so deferral would be the most painless way for the Tories to take their poison.)

They’d put clear blue policy water between themselves and the Opposition. It’d win them the GE.

Read Goldsmith’s bio on Wikipedia. Obviously not very bright, educated at Eton but expelled, no university but a series of “jobs” at think-tanks and lots of travel, editor of the magazine owned by his family then an MP at a very young age.

He knows nothing, has limited education, no actual work experience, is immensely rich and as a child watched Attenborough documentaries on TV so became Green.

It’s like we are back in the 18th century.

Compare the record of that NZ hysteric with the career of Suella Braverman, educated in Law at Cambridge , a masters from the Sorbonne , qualified as a barister , all before her career in politics . Found time also to get married and have 2 children , and now a minister of state at 40. Doubt if she has a chance at PM because she is sceptical about NZ and a Brexiteer,so the media will destroy her (ironically the Guardian tipped her for No 10 ten years ago).
I am not campaigning for her or indeed anyone else, just pointing out that there are people out there with credible intelligence and education , but as always it is the empty vessels that make the most noise in the media , and the ones that the flock of tory MPs will listen to- alas.

And yet we achieved great things in the 18th century, far beyond those of the 21st century where we are supposed to see windmills as the way forward.

As far as Braverman goes, the lights are on but nobody’s home. Despite, or because of her education, she is best described as ‘thick as mince’. Possibly unfair, as I find mince very useful.

The prevalence of articles campaigning to “tackle climate change” are indeed so common that they are just a part of every day life. The WI frequently go on about it. It is not that the members necessarily share these views, but the leadership pushes them. There is gentle pressure to conform. This is particularly true of councils, where the prospect of funding is dangled like a carrot to those councils which have adopted the right stance on climate. Some individual councillors are sceptical but are basically told that if the council does not play ball they will be at the back of the queue when they apply for grants.
