That must be first sensible statement at any of the 28 COPs.
One of the first true things said as well.
COP28 it is going to fail…..The king has got no clothes.
To be fair, every recent COP has failed to achieve anything either. Paris 2015 failed because it could not announce a Treaty because the US, in a rare outbreak of democracy, requires approval by Congress before it can be agreed. Hence, it is only an agreement – an unenforceable wishlist as has been proven since.
Who knew that had caves?

How refreshing to read the words of a level headed “normal” person not influenced by or beholding to the green slime.
As I wrote to Paul on the About tab, there IS no science to support the claims that CO2 is a control knob on temperature no matter how much performance art the Left put on and how many irritating brats from Sweden pull faces.
Science as I repeatedly point out can only be claimed when a theory or assertion is supported by statistically significant empirical data produced by a falsifiable methodology.
There exists no statistically significant empirical data of any kind which supports the claim that CO2 returned to the Carbon Cycle by the actions of man during the last 153 years can in any measurable way be shown to be responsible for all or any part of the current welcome warming since the end of the Little Ice Age, the fourth such warming in recent human history.
Do not take my word for it, go look, you will not find it. Strange because this should be the most famous data in the world today.
No empirical data, then no science dear arts degreed pushers of the climate religion who seem so wilfully ignorant that they think the product of wrong models are empirical data.
I would add a word in there… “*repeatable* statistically significant empirical data”.

A simple graph of GMT vs atmospheric CO2 concentration from 1979* shows no correlation. Science PROVING CO2 is NOT a control knob. We have the data.
*1979 was the beginning of satellite temperature readings. Any GMT before then is suspect.
Geology can add a “little” support……if the work on paleo temperature reconstruction (Scotese 1999) and atmospheric CO2 concentration (Berner 2001) then that lack of correlation goes back a cool 550 million years. W.Jackson Davis in his 2017 paper entitled “The Relationship between Atmospheric Carbon
Dioxide Concentration and Global Temperature for
the Last 425 Million Years” also found no correlation.
Geological history actually delivers us much much more which is totally kept from the consumption of the average Joe and Josephine on the street by those so obsessed with “following the science”.
Why are Joe and Josephine not made aware that CO2 is the source of the oxygen they breath which is supplied as a consequence of photosynthesis where light, CO2 and water vapour perform a little magic dance together? Why are they constantly fed the CO2 is bad, CO2 is a pollutant, CO2 is a control knob on temperature when what they claim could not be further from the truth?
For example only one other time in geological history has (Late Carboniferous to Early Permian), has CO2 level in the atmosphere been as low as it is today. Also during the Carboniferous when atmospheric concentration of CO2 was 7000ppm and average surface temperature was only marginally higher than today, an explosion of biodiversity occurred. Strange if you try to google terms like biodiversity explosions all the results are about mass extinctions! Hmmmm that sounds suspicious. Oh and by the way, all the talk about “acidification of the oceans”. Well simple fact. NEVER during the whole of geological history have the oceans ever been acidic not even during the Carboniferous when CO2 was at 7000ppm. Why is this science AND REALITY kept from the public?
How about when the Angiosperms ( the plants we eat ) evolved, the atmospheric concentration was 2500-2800ppm which is why commercial greenhouse growers with any sense pump CO2 into their greenhouses because even 420ppm is starvation rations for plants. Higher CO2 levels mean plants grow larger, quicker, faster using less water. Hey there is a massive water saving benefit from CO2. Hmmm I wonder why the greentards do not mention that when they are trying to scare people about running out of water when more CO2 gives us a massive saving the need for irrigation AND more food?
Why do the “follow the science” brigade not mention that when the Primates, our ancestors evolved, the level of CO2 was 1500ppm or that during the first half of the current Ice Age only a few thousands of years ago the level of CO2 in the atmosphere fell to 180ppm, only 30ppm above the death of plants and therefore a mass extinction. Firstly, why does Joe Public not know this and why are we allowing lunatics to try and get back there as quickly as humanly possible? Also googling 180ppm brings activism on acid as if 280-180ppm in the atmosphere is “normal” and zero mention of how far away 180ppm is from a mass extinction….hmmm. Google does not seem to be an easy place to get to the facts, does it!
How did this happen? Well the final missing issue in the CO2 riddle is that there really is a problem with the quantity of CO2 freely available in the Carbon Cycle of which the atmosphere is one part. Far from the “follow the science” claim by the arts graduates and the useful idiots that there is too much, there is way too little. In fact atmospheric CO2 has been decreasing linearly for 160 MILLION years. I do not know about you but compared to the trends the climate lunatics “invent”, I pay attention when 160 million years and the words linear downward trend exist in the same sentence. How did this happen? Well 160 million years ago, evolution decided to bring shelly marine molluscs into existence who sequestrate CO2 to combine with calcium to make hard shells CaCO3. To say they have been supremely good at what they do is an understatement. This is attested to by the incredible volumes of shelly organic limestones which exist in the world all made with CO2 removed from the Carbon Cycle. By the way. If that 160 million year trend is extrapolated into the future, in spite of the current temporary uptick, even without the onset of the second part of the current Ice Age, that line meets the death line for plants in a little over one million years from now. With that information freely available you would be forgiven for asking what on earth are we doing allowing lunatics to spend our money dreaming up madcap ways of removing CO2 from the atmosphere? Sanity says we should be finding ways to put more into the atmosphere because in spite of the green useful idiots actions, there is only a finite amount of commercially accessible oil and so consumption must decline and with it, our current if unintentional efforts to save life on earth.

The major difficulty in accepting the theory has been the absence of observed warming coincident with the historic C02 increase. In fact, the temperature in the Northern Hemisphere decreased by about 0.5°C between1940 and1970, a time of rapid C02 build up. In addition, recent claims that climate models over-estimate the impact of radiative perturbations by an order of magnitude, have raised the issue of whether the greenhouse effect is well understood.”
The false concept of a fixed CO2 budget to “stop climate change”, is the basis for all the emissions schemes, “carbon” footprints, renewable energy subsidies and a constant expansion of research departments and government agencies, leading to the destruction of Western economies and energy poverty for the plebs.
The Budget theory claims that historic emissions form part of our “all-time global citizen allowance” and we in the West must cease CO2 emissions, whilst allowing un-developed countries to replace them with their own, so-called “Contract and Converge,” although they now want to stop developing countries from enjoying the benefits of cheap reliable power, as the promise of massive wealth transfer via the Green Climate Fund leads to rich pickings for those on the climate gravy train. “Climate Justice and Reparation” is the new game in town.
