These are descendants of frightened world leaders that agreed in 1945 to follow Joseph Stalin “Great Social Experiment of 1945-2015:″

Who else but Stalin would enroll the entire human population in such a worldwide social experiment, without their consent?

They have accumulated no real power, only more Delusions of Grandeur that members of society can most effectively destroy by individually returning their allegiance to the God of their own understanding – to the Higher Power that controls the pulsar cores of ordinary stars in using neutron repulsion to make, destroy or sustain atoms, lives and worlds.

If they don’t care enough to practice what they preach, I don’t care enough to listen to them. If it’s a crisis, then they need to act like it is instead of business as usual.

It’s worse than you thought, Paul.

Zurich (& other local airports) don’t have parking spaces for than many planes for the duration of the beano.

Once the ‘leaders’ have disembarked from their flights of fancy, their empty plane has to fly off to somewhere else to ‘park up’.

And fly back again later on.

Why can’t they use the public transport that they try to foist upon the rest of us plebs? At least Greenpeace’s senior exec used commercial flights to get to work.

“The Great and the Good.” Double sarcasm!

Well, when I see politicians meeting and talking about climate change, I’m pretty sure that they have some strategical and economical interests in their minds, not necessarily the care for people and for our planet…..We’ll see…..

While it might feel great to ‘catch’ people we disagree with acting in an apparently hypocritical manner, it does absolutely nothing to discredit the validity of their message/argument. In other words, don’t shoot the messenger… what do you have to say about the message? When it comes to climate, absolutely everyone is a hypocrite in some way.

Ridiculously closed minded to dismiss Davos out of hand (which is what this article sets up the reader to do) this way. Why not ponder why the WEF, OECD, IEA and those hippy nutjobs at the Pentagon, DoD, Navy etc. etc. all suddenly see climate as the top risk facing us?

Is flying in with several hundred private jets really the best way to persuade the rest of us that climate change is really a danger?

As for the Pentagon etc, they will always do what their masters tell them. Do you seriously believe what they are saying?

Not “apparently hypocritical”. Absolutely hypocritical. Yes, their message could be right, but they don’t believe it, based on their actions. If someone tries to tell you something is true and you know the person doesn’t believe it themselves, you’re foolish if you follow the idea or instructions without question. Many people who believe AGW is real and a threat base it on the word of people who are obviously not believing their own words. How much time should we donate to what the speakers themselves do not believe?
